lookin' good! question though; being a island, is one of the mountains a volcano by chance? as for the new trails, i totally love 'em! things you might think about adding are... a ranger station (search and rescue, fire spotting, general policing/patrol), maybe a campsite?! a small "seismology" center (for volcano observation), and a shorter trail for those looking for a little exercise. remember the whole "tree line" thing, it might be best if you go easy on the foliage... like you mentioned, the view from up top is pretty epic. i'd hate to see it hidden by dense tree cover. *as for park/trail names*; backbone state park... seems fitting. keep up the fantastic work! game on! p.s. if you're looking for other names, but wanna stick with a 'rhinestone' theme... crystal heights, opal oval, black diamond hills, topaz avenue, silk rd., amethyst projects, ruby park, sapphire beach, emerald end, palace green place, onyx office park, sage bridge, alabaster st., fire opal volcano, sun swarovski observatory...

Owl's Head (name for the trails). Also, I think it might be nice if you put a lake where there's the parking for the trail. Like at the bottom of the hill where there's the big parking. You could make a little pic nic/beach area. I think it would look nice :)

You should do something similar with roads, seeing that you still have many mountains left to use. Perhaps build some mountain roads, something along the lines of the Transfagarasan or the Mulholland Highway. Give them tight, sweeping bends and scenic views but make sure the roads don't really go anywhere important so there is not much traffic on them.

Parts of the Appalachian Trail is almost straight up in places in Tennessee/North Carolina in The Great Smokey Mountains. The Wesser to Fontana segment, you have to go up the side of a ridge on multiples of switchbacks. I just love the addition of trails to the city.

I really like the idea of huge rocks around the trails. If you can you should add waterfalls all around, and name the whole beach side of the island "The Flux Coast"

Waterfalls is a natural attraction for visitors, so if you are going to draw in a stream then let the waterfall be its source before going out into the major water body. Lookoff bluffs, wooded trails, and swamps are also considerations, maybe perhaps an abandoned mine. I have observed talent and architecture ability, and that is a gift.

I think it would be cool if you had a dirt road that goes over the mountain to a small community of low density residential next to a beach where there is like 10 - 20 small houses and like 1 corner store pressed into the mountain side.

Funny how you were mention compatibility issues at about 21:50 and then it like dieded for a bit. I think adding rocks is a good idea, I wonder if anyone has mad any giant rocks like you were talking about, that would look cool in some places. I don't know how ppl can think things like this are boring, it's fascinating to me to watch detail being put in. I do detail with my coasters (more so the track and the supports then the scenery, custom scenery is not really my thing), and sure it's not the most entertaining thing to watch, but learning how other's do details is great, you can either choose to use what they're doing, or that you don't particularly like how they do it, so you do it a different way. All that just from watching someone, so to me it's wonderful you take the time to show all of this. Thanks man, you mean a lot to all of us.

New Dale and the trails look great. Only feedback I can give it to maybe connect the trail from the university to the one that's going through the plains. They looked very close when you finished, but they were not connected. Also, as for the buildings without a road, would using props solve your problem? Like maybe put binoculars, railings, benches, and then beach props along the trails and cove, respectively!

If you're going to make a lake in the other area of the mountains, you should look at Hidden Lake in Glacier National Park, I think it would give some great ideas; and maybe when snowfall releases, you could build like a little lodge type area around the lake with some cabins or camp sites.

the sprawling network of trail heads are similar to what we have here in New Jersey. The Watchung reservation is practically a spider web with like twenty small trailheads and three big ones.

Hey Flux great video!!! In Lynn, by the "train yard" you should/ kinda need to put bridge walk ways so citizens can cross; you could make it a bit interesting by doing a couple crossings with both ped and bike side by side.

There should definitely be some tunnels for those trail roads ^^ For example, using rocks to cover one like a carved tunnel. Also, you can add a water source that produce little water in your water source mode : for that, you need to double click on the strength info buble and write (for example) "0.001" and then you obtain a very week water source ;)

Hey flux, at about 30:00, when you were looking over the path that crested the hill, I think if you made the path branch off there and go up the higher mountain and stop at the top, that would be a pretty cool observation station to look out at the city and also you could put like a little visitor's center at the top with maybe cable cars? you should add some small paths in the trails that break off for a short distance before meeting up with the path it originated from. I've got a lot of trails like that where I am. also, if you manage to get a small river in you should try for a small waterfall too.

Fluxtrance I have a suggestion for one of the Coves. I live in Victoria, Australia and my favourite hike is in Wilson's Promontory, which goes out to Sealers Cove and is only accessible by foot or boat. I can't seem to post a link but you should google it :) Keep up the fantastic work!

You should get water taxis/ferries so you can make it so people can go from that business park you made on the river to the casino area and to the city water front. They are a cool way to get around and they have a lot of them in my city.
