There are many national parks in the American Southwest that have trails that lead to natural hot springs, often with small bits of development (bathrooms, cabins, etc). I would actually say that this is quite realistic! Bravo!

You should add either MetLife stadium or Paul brown stadium, to add more sports to your city. Also you should build a super fancy resort back near or around the place with the hots tubs and call it Ritz Carlton Rhinestone city. Another sport you should add is baseball. You should add Yankees stadium

Maybe you could pull a metro stop near that location to actually attract some visitors there? If that's important to you. :) I think it'd be cool to have a hotel or two there as well but since there are no road connections coming it wouldn't work. Thanks for the episode!

Considering the fact that there are now the trams, It could be cool to have a single winding "scenic tour" tram come out to either this new resort spot or some other sorta resort spot. I dont think the spots where people offload from the tram create trash or crime so it could work out with minimal problems.

This was a great episode Flux! Really like the look of the research facility, gives it a sort of "Just Cause 2" island feel. While I do like what's going on in the trail areas, I think you should do the next few episodes on the urban area of the city. Perhaps expand Dale as you mentioned at the end, or even start work on an airport/casino area. I think what would look great is a golf course across the river from Dale/Rhinestone, looking onto the city.

I can't decide if I hate it or love it that relatively little happens during the live part of each episode. I hate that he focuses on such minute details because it just takes so long and gets repetitive after a while. But on the other hand, I love all the small details because they bring so much life to the cities and make them look much more realistic. Either way, second best CS series on KZbin. The best is the Grizzley Valley (I think) snow map that he's making!

I'd suggest that if you go for the tropical feel, especially on the mountainside near the sea, you should reforest everything that is under 45° angle or that isnt sand. Now it just looks weird that everything is plane and then in that facility or on top of the mountain there are trees. I'd also add some palm trees between and make it a really tropical feel with low big bushes etc. But great vids keep making them please for my entertainment :)

I gotta say I liked the first placement of the satellite dishes better, when they were facing the facility, but you got a solution for everything to look cool. Nice work, keep it up. Also, this could really use an observatory somewhere near this facility, but obviously higher up :)

Don't know how manageable this idea would be, but you could plant a forest and have an adventure playground/ tree top and zip line run going through it. Might work well with the trails and the other leisure facilities you've built already.

Awesome series here with Rhinestone Island. Keep up the great work. Get a mod called "Random Tree Rotation", that should help in getting rid of the trees always looking the same when placed.

awesome as always! maybe rather than just paying to use the hot tubs and such, you could make a campsite! something people would hike into... i have to imagine any ranger or garbageman would be using a 'cabota' or an atv with a trailer. you'd have to be crazy to hump 200lbs of trash that far! anyhow, it looks beautiful! and i love the research park! keep up the good work! game on!!!

I would love to see you do like a proper central park. Much like the one you did around Yutho's Embassy, with all the pathways, bushes and foliage but much larger, with some open grass areas (lawns) and in the middle of high density neighborhoods.

Your resort need a dock for the provisioners to bring food and pick up garbage, or an helipad. Hiking through the mountain with a load of crates doesn't seem like a fun job at all. x)

Was going to ask a few episodes ago, what's with the clumps of erratically placed park benches as I've only ever seen them uniform and spaced out in Aus, then I watched a 90's American tv show with park benches arranged exactly like you have here haha. Build's looking awesome so far. Keep it up man!

I really like the research station. Great detail as always. There is just one thing that bothers me immensly: Dirt Roads. You have this High-Tech Facility and it is only rechable by dirt road? I think that a small concrete road would make more sence, as some science stuff might be highly breakable and dirt roads aren't exactly smooth to ride...
