FLW KBF OPEN Nickajack Lake | DAY 1 VLOG | Kristie Returns from Africa

In this VLOG I am in Chattanooga and Dayton, Tennessee for the first FLW KBF on Nickajack Lake following the action for DAY 1. In the process, I teach Blake how to hang a hammock, discover a downtown launch location, talk to an angler that dropped his phone in the water, meet up with Kristie after her return from a mission trip in Africa and talk to the DAY 1 leader about his day. Great video as always. I do a lot of hammock camping from the car and backpacking. And those are nice hammocks you used and mentioned in the video, but I make some that are made for camping. You can feel the difference.

It’s the InTech Explore. We had an accident and it was destroyed and due to a misunderstanding and technicality with the insurance company it wasn’t covered so I wasn’t covered for the trailer and the total loss was so much that I couldn’t replace it. Since then, I’ve decided to build a trailer with a roof top tent instead through On The Water Innovations. The InTech was awesome and you can definitely sleep in it and it’s super roomy and comfortable and has great storage as well

Chad, What brand of phone leash connection are you using? I have been looking for something like this. If I understand your comment, even with a dry bag you are still taking your phone out of the bag to use. All of the bags say you can use the phone while in the bag and I have never trusted that train of thought - advertising.

Chad, we need to work on your Hammock hanging skills. You hang the hammock waybto right. To get the most comfort you want the hammock itself to look like a clown smiley face. This gives you the ability to lay diagonally and get really flat, ultimate way to sleep while camping and the only way I camp now days. Tents are so 1990’s
