Another great video! I am a pilot and AME (Canadian version of an A&P) and have spent a lot of time in Goose Bay looking after a Caravan on floats. It is a beautiful part of the country and the folks at the Woodward's FBO are always welcoming. You never know what you might see on the ramp with all the aircraft stopping there either before or after crossing the Atlantic! Looking forward to part two.

How sweat for them to have worked hard enough for them to just hop on their phenom or rent it either way and head privately to europe. Are the engines hard to start in the cold? Do they need preheated by an aux heater? Is there a cool down procedure on the engines after flying? What kinda egts? do you see?

Wow dude. Thanks for the video. May I add a few points? Do you say Boston USA or Boston Massachusetts. Goose Bay is in the province of Newfoundland. Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador to be precise. And Newfoundlanders are wonderful people. And yes, they can be gregarious and a bit crazy as they enjoy a good time. But most importantly when so many Americans were stranded during 9/11 where did they send dozens of planes with passengers. Yep…Goose Bay and to this day they all say they were amazed that the folks in Goose Bay took all those strangers into their homes for many days. Alas, I am sure you are super busy and it is hard to be tuned into the local stories you might enjoy. Travel safe.
@gear_down Жыл бұрын
Lot of seriousness for a non serious video. There might be a better channel for all of that. I’m raw, uncut, and fun where I’m at. That’s it. My job is to tell MY story, not the worlds story. I appreciate the input, but it’s way above what I’m doing with this channel. Side note SHOUTOUT the people of GOOSE BAY for helping fellow HUMANS out in a terrible time for OUR world. Cheers

@@gear_down Yep what is nice about creating content…especially in youtube land..is you get to create exactly the content you want. Glad you love it. I stumbled across your video…and wish you safe flying and lots of fun. And it would be fun to learn more about your background and how you approach this great career you have. Regardless, keep up the good work. And the second is a correction as I screwed up and confused Goose Bay with Gander. My mistake and I humbly admit. Look forward to more of your videos. Oh and a long time ago when I was a young and green pilot I flew out of Bedford (Hanscom) a number of times but I first solo’d at Hampton Airfield…a tiny grass place on the seacoast of New Hampshire.
