The pilots were actually told to get more altitude, but the sheer weight of their massive balls kept the planes really low. Spectacular.

Yup turning everything into advertising is very American. "Arizona senators John McCain and Jeff Flake headed up a Joint Oversight Investigation into Department of Defense spending on military recruitment advertising. In November of 2015, they released their report. It showed the DOD paid $10 million in advertising to several sports leagues, including the NFL. The investigation found more than half of the advertising dollars were spent on what’s been termed “paid patriotism,” like standing for the national anthem."

Soulbrother 714. Your a ‘special’ kind of stupid, aren’t you? Not hard to time it out to be at the end of the song. And traveling as fast as they are, you don’t hear them coming because they are probably close to Mach 1 [speed of sound, 767mph]. They are flying under it because there is no sonic boom, but they’re probably still going 4-500 mph. You’re not going to hear them coming because of the stadium walls.

A couple friends and I were fishing at a very remote and high altitude lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains in CA. The sun was going down and the trout were starting to bite. Out of nowhere, a military jet appeared and flew about 100 feet over the lake. The sound was deafening and the 3 of us just looked at each other in stunned silence. After that, the fish stopped biting. It was something I won’t forget.

Nothing like thinking you’re all alone in nature and then a fighter going Mach Jesus flys just above you! I’d imagine that is quite the experience! I’ve been part of the opposite scenario: there is nothing more exciting than seeing the look on people’s faces when they thought they were fishing all alone in the ocean, and a submarine surfaces very close to them!

I work beneath the flight path of the Portland Air National Guard’s airfield, and every day at 8:30 a.m., two pairs of jets thunder overhead. At 4:30 p.m., they make their return. If you happen to be outside when they pass, you’ll get an incredible underbelly view-but you might lose a few decibels of hearing in the process.

The Air National Guard used to do mock bomobing runs, on a dam, at the other end if the valley (some 20 miles down). Their return flight path was my valley. They flew so low (maybe 150' off the ground at my end) that the concussive force pushed the valley facing wall in enough to knock my TV off it's stand, (about 8"). Didnt break it. Was back in the 70's. Big CRT could handle it. The surprising thing was, the walls were 18" thick and covered with old slate shingles outside. Nothing was damaged.

I’ve been lucky enough to take my son to Thailand a few times and there really isn't anything like travelling and experiencing another country especially when that country is so beautiful and free. Us who live in the west really dont know exactly what freedom is until you visit a country like Thailand and see how they live a life with so little but are the most happiest people in the world. I also plan to one day travel around the USA thats my ultimate destination. But I have a lot of saving to do before I get that opportunity. All the best mate good chatting with you.

That’s the American education system for you 😂. Cannot even spell their own language correctly. It always amazes me how full of themselves the Americans are. Again in this video, all pumped up because of their national anthem (before every sports event ..), all the American flags, and high-five because of a fly-by. Nothing to be proud of, considering the massive problems they have. Just act normally.

My BIL was an Air Force pilot and once explained a term called TOT...Time On Target. It is a term that refers to the precise time that coordinated artillery or aircraft will arrive on target. Think about the coordination it takes to put those jets traveling 500mph, directly over the stadium at the exact second required! This includes waiting outside controlled airspace until the exact time they have allotted and previously notified the airspace of the need to pass through it. It is an impressive efforts of a lot of people to get these machines to fly over at the exact second needed.

On 911, I was at work when we all saw and heard. I took a break outside to cry and get myself together. It was about 9:30 a.m. I was sitting there in Denton, Texas when 2 F-15s thundered through at what I believe was way lower altitude than normal. Literally knocked me off the bench. Turns out, that they were hunting a putt-putt plane who would not respond to "everybody on the ground NOW!" from the feds. It was a local idiot who wasn't listening. The F-15s, basically forced the putt-putt down in a local, small airfield. The cops were waiting. The FBI was waiting. The Sheriffs Dept. was waiting. And, I heard, that a few locals were waiting with them, long guns attached. When Mr. Idiot landed, he was dragged out of the stupid putt-putt and had his ass kicked all the way to a cop car. I was told, later, that he needed first aid. The only point I gave him was that he was not a Muslim terrorist. Just stupid.

My husband served 9 years n the USMC before having to be medically retired. His first duty station here in eastern NC where we still call home, was with the air wing aboard New River Air Station. I will never forget being in awe of the sign I stared at right outside of the main gate as we waited to enter. “Pardon Our Noise, It’s The Sound Of Freedom” It brought the most intense sense of pride, that the big beautiful noise makers that they were discussing on this sign, my husband would now be working on their engines (well, at that time the T-58 line since retired ) . But I’ve quoted that line so many times over the years every time someone feels the need to complain around here. We settled outside the back gate to Camp Lejeune, his last duty station, are down the road from Bouge Marine Corp Airfield, 45 min From Cherry Point Marine Corp Air Station where he works civil service back as a mechanic in the service of the Marine Corp Birds he so loves, and 30 Mins from the Original New River Air Station, where it all started for us in the way of permanent duty stations. There are always Fly Overs, trainings and in short, and lot of noises going on around here, that are reminders of the freedoms that our Marines are training for, will fight for, and God Forbid, will Die for if need be. I love each and every one of them. So thank you for sharing! That fly over, that beautiful noise, brings a tear to this proud Americans eye every time! I used to work for the gas company in the antelope valley and I was up in California City which is just north of Edwards AFB I noticed a jet flying low and circling around so I decided to go closer and get a look at it I got closer and saw it was a F111 I drove closer and didn't see it anymore and got out of my truck to look around and he came from behind me maybe 100 feet up and flew directly over me, I didn't hear him until he passed and the roar was intense I jumped up and down like the guys in the video! I used to see a lot of military planes flying there including the space shuttle on top of the 747 , the B2 SR71 but this was the absolute best 😊😮

That was a 2-ship of Northrop T-38 Talons. Our supersonic advanced jet trainer. It's amazing to me how the 2 best flyover I've ever seen are not out best bombers or transport or fighters, but rather these sleek, stupid fast, "motorcycles of the sky" ... just strap yourself to the engines and go. Called The White Rocket from back before they were all painted gray, or oreo colored. (I flew 'em for 10 years)

@@fgk765jkhif you mean by “paid” by paying with their own life. Then yea but the United States does not pay their troops well compared to other countries. Why do you think North Korean troops are on their way to Russia right now? Well I’ll give you a hint, they live lavish lifestyles. Have you seen a 24+ year old come out the military with a Ferrari or paid off house? Unless they’re smart then no and in most cases, it’s the exact opposite. So “paid killers” wouldn’t even make sense, since their one, barely paid fairly compared to other countries standards and two, if their not paid fairly surely you wouldn’t be making the claim that they’re doing this for free right? So they have a job but they sacrifice their pay and life to secure your freedom yet you complain. Let me guess… Palestine?

My son was one fo the pilots who did the flyovers. Just those seconds take a lot of coordination to get the split second timing just right for that split second Time-on-Target. The aircraft loiter at distance to not be heard and then at the precise moment conveyed to them by a ground controller they turn and head in. If they get it right they are over the stadium at the "Land of the Free (NOW!) and the Home of the Brave". Usually, after they land and are situated, they get invited to some very nice BBQ after the game if they are flying non-secured aircraft that can land locally. The secure aircraft fly back to their base.

@@frez777 not standing is the most USA thing you can do. The ability to not stand for the national anthem, to be hyper critical of the establishment, and even burn your own nation’s flag, without penalty, is real freedom; soldiers fought and died for that amount of freedom and that’s what I love about my country. Anyone who says you should be arrested for not standing or burning the flag, or that either is equivalent to spitting on troops, is speaking purely out of emotion and doesn’t truly understand what the USA is supposed to represent. Honestly though, a picture of a flag on fire as our flag would be badass.

@@goldnarms435 the song should be played and sung with respect. Read the history of our National Anthem, including when and why it was written. The poem, originally titled, "The Defence of Fort M'Henry" was written by Francess Scott Key after he witnessed (while a prisoner on a British ship) our flag still standing despite intentional attempts by the British to destroy it during a battle in the War of 1812.

@@mregister3945 Sir, you only know 1/2 the history obviously: the melody of the United States national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner," originally comes from a popular drinking song. The tune was composed by John Stafford Smith for the Anacreontic Society, a gentlemen's club in London, and the song was titled "To Anacreon in Heaven." This song was essentially a convivial piece sung at social gatherings, celebrating the ancient Greek poet Anacreon, who was known for his poems about love and wine

And we justify it in own minds.... How does the world know the wrath of God is upon it? It's when the evil in the world is allowed to take place !!!! And the fact people are approving of it ..... Like I said, read Roman's chapter 3. May God bless you with ears to hear.🙏 Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and MANY are on it. I am always amazed of the coordination of these events for the organizers being able to time and coordinate the planes arriving just at the pinnacle of the anthem. If anybody knows precisely how this is done I would be delighted to hear it. (I am thinking, for once these squadrons and their team leads have practice in this, they must know the distance, turning times, and speed of the vehicles, and the lengths of the anthem, I they probably even practice it once, but the fact that the singer must always sing the anthem slightly differently, wind speeds change, and the size of that stadium is still tiny compared to those speeds, it must be quite hard to pull this off. I am also thinking that someone has a sheet music with timestamps constantly updating the pilots about the time remaining till flyby.)
