Ryan, I'm continually blown away by the quality of your videos. The visuals are absolutely stunning. The audio mix is great. The music on this video was making my home theater sub hit rock bottom :) Your narration is very insightful and inspiring. Recently I watched a series called "Ride" on Amazon video. It has Norman Reedus. he goes on a different motorcycle journey each episode with a different guest. I think if you did something like this with paramotors it would be epic. Maybe do your first episode with Tucker, then maybe different notable individuals in the paramotor community each episode.

I think what draws me to your amazing films are that they are a kin to the old Glen Plake videos and the Fall Line Films. But classed up a few notches. It’s beautiful and so inspirational. The only bad part is the wait for the next one. It was amazing to hear from you tonight. And say you’ve got a bunch of footage in the can. You not only inspire me to have goals of flying these amazing places but also put in the work figure out beautiful ways to record and share my own adventures.

OK, ok, ok, land on top of a McDonalds, Dell kite walk down the side to the drive through, order a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Mc Risky Biscuit, and fly off washing it down with a red bull! That's 10K worthy! Seriously, it's tough because you and Greg Anthony appeal to adults who are stunned by the cinematography and the editing. Jeans Weightless brings me tears as I watch it once a month because it's on your level - I wish I had a great answer to get you to 10K, but don't compromise your stunning art to get there.

Some if my friends who have large youtube channels and do motorcycle giveaways say its about how often you upload, thumbnails and the length like atleast 10 min or so. I personally have decided to upload more often here in the near future, but realizing how much time it takes to edit and come up with content. Firework shows don't come about that often and I haven't vlogged on my motorcycle yet. I will document my paramotor journey hopefully after my second round of training I get my motor this year. My buddies all love your vids.
@alejoal074 жыл бұрын
I know for a fact that the KZbin algorithm prefers long format content, check the big youtube channels, 99% of their videos are at least 10 minutes which seems to be the sweet spot. That might just be your missing ingredient to get to 10k and beyond! Love the content BTW

I missed the subscription dance this time. (sad face-just kidding) ;-) Your videos are juicy morsels of awesomeness, and I don't understand why you don't have 250K or more subscribers out of production quality alone... But I definitely think the subscription dance has got to help. More ideas (you asked for it-so, here's my brainstorm): Mission-oriented shenanigans... maybe find strange and cool things (or actions) to shoot on location-scavenger hunt style, or fancy feats of skill and creativity. Educational hour... include some interesting info (if there is any) about the areas you explore, or tips on how to be awesome paramotor guy or awesome photographer-nobody can beat your videography/photography-your vids are liquid goooold. Feminine infusion... does wife fly? any lovely female flying friends? Honestly, I think Alayna and Jaclyn adventures salt and pepper Mark and Tucker's videos with some refreshing feminine energy-and I think that could help with some subscriptions. Eagles... more eagles.

Lots of people dream of an iceland adventure trip but its tough, you should look at create some dunes adventure trips a couple times a year and bring in pilots to make it an adventure. Film fly, fly it, share it and bring in some of the big names, it'd grow fast then man. People want more of these adventures and iceland just isn't an option for many.

Thanks for the great video i really enjoyed it. I am hoping to do fly camping myself soon 🪂. Q Do you think its a good idea to ground start a motor?
@ryansouthwell4 жыл бұрын
Generally no, however with a Scout you can take few precautions. The Safe Start feature is amazing and I test it frequently. It gives me so much peace of mine when out in the woods when starting up without my rack. I always check throttle for sticking, turn on the Safe Start and have my finger on the kill trigger. In this one, I just have to assume that Brad knows his motor well and took the most safety precautions he could under the circumstances. But yes, safety shouldn't be gambled with. I'll try and push for a better example in future episodes. Thanks for the comment.

Again great stuff Ryan! I would suggest more clickbait titles which work well in search results and as is happening now, regular new vids, KZbin is rough on sparse posters... sadly it doesn’t look at quality, since you’d be having millions of followers if that would be the criteria. Keep it up, love your content 👌🏻
@ryansouthwell4 жыл бұрын
Totally true. It's a struggle of mine though that clickbait is the name of the game. I feel like it's selling your should to the devil. Cause in reality I'd rather have good content and care about the art more than subscribers. It's just a lot of work for the ratio of viewers at the moment.
