As an 87 year old "Recliner Babe"... I enjoy all the Van couples, their great photography talents and adventures. Through YOUR camera lenses and expertise, I am transported .....starting with setting up camp (my love and I traveled and camped in a cab over camper on a 1970 ...3/4 ton Chevy truck.....with only the basics. Thanks to you and the ability you have to tell it like it is....and just when to let nature do the talking....I can hear the voice of the river.....see the sunsets, etc. I dont know how you do it....but I swear I can even smell the flora and fauna. Our travel days are over, now. You have my gratitude for letting us come with you. You are the very best at what you do.

Oh you have brought back some darn good memories with my wife and her parents.. All are gone now and I only have the fond memories. we practically raised our kids boating and camping on the snake down there. we had many fish fries and drank a few beers on hot days. I told my wife when she was alive that we mus have done something right with our kids taking them fishing and camping as they are good young men and women now. in fact they take their kids doing the same thing we did with them. I do miss my wife and the fun we had but I am glad I had the opportunity to have that time with her

Good job on the filming and sounds Of Idaho snake river I was raised on the Boise River were it dumps into the Snake River. Great place to be raised in 1970s for a young boy. I am living now on the back side of Siltcoos Lake on the Oregon coast . I am 66 and plan living the rest of my days here. The only place that is more beautiful than this place is HEAVEN and I'm so looking forward to that move. GOD has blessed Me!!!

I grew up on the Snake River. My side of the river was in Wyoming. I'm from Jackson and each one of your videos makes me home sick, even when you're in Mexico. I think it's just the freedom I see you have. I lived in a teepee in the 70s and miss nature.

Thank you for reminding us that there will be life after the coronavirus. No matter how much humans want to believe in their superiority, nature is the ultimate force, and it's ever changing march forward will continue. Seeing you almost dwarfed by nature makes the point that we are just a small part of something bigger and learning to see it and enjoy it is gift.

Yes if anything good comes from this virus, I hope that we all learn to appreciate life and nature more and what we were created for. Humans have a connection to nature and I feel we got lost along the way. Praying for all of us and hope this terrible situation can make us come together more. 💙🌎🌌🌅🌄 The earth is so precious and I believe may be the only planet like it out there. We are so very lucky. 🌍🌍🌍

I agree. What a beautiful location. the boughs in the orchard and water in the background made me recall the illustrations in story books from when I was a child. To see Abner coming into the scene at 00:45 and again at 12:37 gave me a warm comfortable feeling like bumping into an old friend. I going to miss him. He's been so trusty and reliable to you and furnished us viewers with so many adventures. Thanks to the both of you.

Dear Slim, I was expecting a great video, but you have shown us A FABULOUS one. What beautiful area and you, as usual, have captured it so wonderfully.
