FLY FISHING ADVENTURES 2023 Day 15 Flint Creek Montana [Episode #15]

In this episode we fly fish for trout on a very nice mid September day in Montana. We start the morning with a double nymph setup with a 20 incher and a Perdigon pattern and some combination of those fly patterns works for the whole day. We have a great day in Montana.

I’ve fished Flint in September & large cattle herds have definitely muddied the water for long stretches of time.

I can't say for sure but it is a silty river and its flow is controlled by a dam. Maybe those were factors.
