I don’t think that 90 degree angle was supposed to be in that rod while the guide was fighting the fish at 16:04! Oops. Bummer. Great video.

Yes, testing some new rods to the extreme and bammmm.

If you want to use heavier lead eyes and don't want the eyes to flip the fly over, just tie the eyes in on the bottom of the shank.

Great video! Was the last river the Columbia? Looks way smaller than I recall

Fished the Upper Columbia near Golden and a Kinbasket tributary stream, which we can’t name ☺️

What time of year is best for the bullies ?
@SFOTF2 жыл бұрын
Our favorite time is late September/early October when the Bulls are feeding on the spawning Kokanee.

When the water clarity isn't great do you guys switch to darker profile streamers? Just wondering how they even spot the white streamer you guys are using in the silty water! Cheers
@SFOTF2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you nailed it. We always start with lighter patterns when the water is running cleaner but tend to use darker colors (reds, blacks, dark pink, etc.) if the water is too murky. The water is always slightly murky, which is why we tend to fish downstream of incoming clean water creeks.
