Great Video Dan! Loved the distanced shot of you crouching and fighting that fish...Was really cool to see. Looked like a lot of fun. Always good info in your videos, Tight Lines man!!

Yeah, I really like that composition too. The water, the greenery, the river flowing ... kinda felt like fishing in a dream man. So lucky to have places like this so close to home. Thanks guys for the amazing channel support!

Really appreciate that anglerwannabe! This was a good day and finding that bigger fish in the pocket turned it into a great day. I've gotta start pushing myself to cover more water, and taking stabs at all the little pockets along the way. So many unfished spots and sometimes some big fellas are waiting! Really do appreciate the channel support my friend, dan

lol, I know right? I think it's catching up to me though, because the last couple trips out on the water have been super unproductive for me. So weird how fishing can go from "on top of the world" one minute to "what the hell am I doing" the next 😂

Fishing certain spots in this river feels like fishing in a dream. It's a stunning location and definitely feel so lucky to have access to places like this in my "backyard". Really appreciate the channel support my friend! dan

Man! There are quite a few tanks where you fish, big boys! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks buddy! Definitely been trying to search out more of the big fish and go for "Quality" over "Quantity" this past couple months. It's a lot of fun when that strategy works ... of course, there's been a couple frustrating days mixed in as well, and I'm not making those videos 😂 But it's been a lot of fun either way and continuing to learn every time out. Always appreciate the channel support my friend! dan

No intro needed great video. I really like the double view.
@WhatMyLensSees4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, thought that was kind of a cool way to combine some of the footage. The scene from the gopro doesn't look all that great, but the shot from the other camera shows just how nice that particular section of the river is and gives a much better perspective of the landscape. Kinda cool and thinking I'll try to do more of that going forward. Always appreciate your comments and support man. Take care, dan

Matt really appreciate that man! This was a definitely a good day out on the water :) Definitely helps when the trout cooperate! But, even if I hadn't caught any, that setting is just something else! Never a moment when I'm not feeling grateful to call Colorado home! I'm guessing you can relate! Oh, and saw you just put out a new RMNP vid ... can't wait to check that out when I get some time this weekend!

What_My_Lens_Sees Yessir, went for the Cutthroat Slam in the Park, which is actually difficult to do if you don’t want to hike too much, especially in 1 day! The Yellowstones are the rarest species in the Park actually since they only inhabit two lakes. What I’ve found over the years is the PURE strain of Greenbacks is actually quite rare even in the Park. There often found throughout but From my experience, they’re often hybridized with the CRCs. Still, it’s our state fish and they should be enjoyed and appreciated way more than they are. Cheers!

I've been monetized for quite some time now. The pay is terrible 🤣 so just doing this whole youtube thing for the enjoyment of combining two of my favorite things: fly fishing and filming :) thanks kumbo!!
