I identify with your channel so much because if I were a KZbinr, I think that I would take the same approach as you. It kind of bums me out that you are not getting the views and likes that you deserve. Watching Ryder say, "Amen!" at the end of the prayer was the highlight for me in this video. I grew up knowing bluegill, war mouth, and general sunfish as perch. I'm from Texas but I have learned better since. I still call them perch colloquially though lol.

Nothing better than a big ole brim on a fly rod. Ima fan of the elk hair and if the double rig with a popper on top. I just always seem to mess up the tandem tieing 🤦‍♂️. That grasshopper fly was putting in the work on the plate fillers.. 👊🏼👊🏼. I love making videos like this, almost as much as i live watching the excitement in videos like this. Great work fellas. As someone who watches people fishing up north those are bluegill. Yellow perch are so much cooler than bluegill but im not catching them in Missouri. People should just refer to them as thier scientific name lepomis macrochirus.

Those look more like a hybrid bream the ear is too long to be a bluegill.

Bluegill are shorter and more round in shape. And perch are longer, or so I've read on the internet 🤷 To me those look like bream. But whatever he wants to call them I don't care as long as he votes for anyone with American's first value's come November.

They aren't perch though. They are a sunfish species. Perch are in the walleye family. You are doing a disservice to sportsmen by misidentifying a species. That's like rule #1 of hunting and fishing is knowing how to identify what your after.
