Just came across this again, Mike your videos inspired me to move off big steams and pursue native brookies and wild browns in addition to stockies. Thanks again !

I like how you show your set-up before you start fishing. Most videos just show people fighting fish, land them, then jump cut to another fish on. You don't learn much that way. With yours, you see your set-up and hear the rationale behind it. Very helpful, thank you. You also show the type of water you're drifting your flies through, which is also educational.

Wolly!!! Huge fan is this section above or below paradise valley?? Just wanted to ask cuz it looks perfect for dry droppers in these sections. Keep up the good work and excited for a new video!!

Wooly, nice video but I cringe that you put Spring Creek in the location. 20 years ago I used to catch at least one if not more 20 inch browns in multiple sections of Spring Creek. Those days are long gone as the stream gets way too much pressure and not enough fisherman that know how to release a fish without killing it. Now it doesn't matter what day of the week or time of year, it is hard to find a spot to fish that stream without fisherman all around you. Since the stream is all tackle catch n release, the only thing that I think may help is barbless lures only catch and release. But I hate to see more videos on social media on what used to be great streams. But that is happening all over the country. I do thank you for properly releasing the trout you caught. And you would have been amazed at the fish you would have caught 20-30 years ago

Ya can't beat a small black zebra midge in August! At least that's been our experience on the Davidson. Enjoyed this one as always. 👍👍

I lived just a little NW of that area and fished that creek a lot. Really pretty fish in that water. You ever get up into the Allegany River near Coudersport for wild Browns?

Big Papi no I've never fished there. Is the water big?

Wooly Bugged it's creek fishing upstream of about Roulette, PA. Lots of downed trees and riffles followed by slow moving pools. Tough to fish. A lot of grub-like looking things in the water probably from the rotting dead hard woods. I'm a Western guy now so maybe need to get some local confirmation but might be an interesting trip.

You gotta go back some time after you gain some more experience. There are a lot of fish in there. In my first year of fly fishing I used to go to Spring Creek and not catch a thing.
