Fly Fishing In The Hills

A pleasant days fly fishing up in the hills of Mid-Wales.
The water was low and clear, and conditions far from ideal.
But it's been a while since I've been out on the water so
I headed for the hills rod used was a 7ft 4wt split cane.

As always , Luke, gentle, atmospheric, and totally absorbing. Thank you. Our season starts in a few weeks but major flooding has severely abraded local rivers, with worse to come. Expectations may be dashed. Oh the pity.

Great too see you out on the water again , pity you didn't catch one of the beautiful trout you usually catch there but the mid wales rivers are all on their bones however it is just good to be out on the river.

Thanks Micheal, it was just good to get outon the water, late season up in the hills can be a bit hit and miss. It's great up there catching or not....
