I absolutely LOVE mine!! I’ve been using it on the San Juan and it is the best rod I’ve fished with. It casts easily, mends a country mile, and protects 6X tippet. My new favorite!

That's amazing to hear! Multiple applications for 1 rod is awesome. I'll pass that onto the rep, he loves hearing things like that!

Probably gonna pick up one of these to use as my floating line/indicator rod primarily. My impression is that, with the softer tip, it wouldn’t be ideal for intermediate/sinking line setups. Curious to know your thoughts on that. I’m thinking I’ll find a faster action, perhaps 9’6” rod, better suited for casting those sinking lines. Any recommendations?

I think this rod would be pretty nice for the slower intermediate lines maybe upto a type 3. I like faster shorter rods for sink lines. I use 9ft 6wts. The 9'6" rods are a great compromise for both methods and I use compromise very lightly. As far as brand in a 9.5ft I like the Scott centrics for high end. Mid priced I would use the TFO legacy.

Old comment I know, but I used one from somebody I was fishing it with and it felt great paired with an indicator line. I think I'll buy one soon
