Looks like the 90mm macro is back on the menu! I had ruled that out for now, but after seeing those shots, I gotta add it to the collection. Thanks for the video. Very informative.

Great stuff! I had heard about the Cotton Carrier Hand strap, but the first time I've seen the Cotton carrier chest harness! Both are on the wish list. The chest harness will be great when I'm on the water in Bass boats taking photos and filming! You do great work.

Jessica, very informative. Love your style and have seen many of your photos and did not know. Can you tell me what your little "multi-tool" is? Thanks!

Great video, thanks Jessica. If forced to use a single camera and trying to keep to a minimal number of lenses, does the 85mm 1.8 have many advantages over the 90mm macro for, say, river action shots/portraits or would the 90 and a wider prime be a decent combo for everything? Thanks :-)

Hey Tim, Thanks for watching the video. I love my 85mm f1.4 prime lens, but if I had to choice I would bring the 90mm macro over the 85. The 90mm macro f2.8 by Sony. I can take portraits and then I can get nice and close and shoot fish details and spots snd tails and such. It also has great close focusing distance as well. If I was on a shoot where I had my gear being carried on the drift boat and I wanted to specifically do portraits then yes I would bring the 85 cause who can beat a f1.4 lens? If I could bring 1 camera and 2 lenses for fishing it would be 90mm macro and 24mm f1.4

@@jessicahaydahlrichardson7951 thanks! Just what I was hoping you’d say as I ordered the Sony 90mm this morning... ouch. New Year’s resolution to start taking a ‘proper’ camera fishing again so I bought the a7rii with a 28mm f2 and was hoping the 90mm would work instead of an 85 plus a cheap macro. Thanks again, love your stuff btw 👌
