You went to the white river and bobber fished ? You caught some nice fish but I would have thought streamers for tarpon sized browns 😂 jk I would love to make it down there some day.

Haha, we threw everything! Gotta have the right water for streamers. Fortunate to live in AR, so we go pretty often...just don't make videos from every trip! Caddis season is getting epic!

Two parts, sign me up! Definitely would love to get out here and chase those 30" plus fish. Such a great system and clearly you had a blast. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Part 2 will be out at 4. We've had some good times on the White...only seen one of those 30's and it wasn't interested in us...but it's cool to know that are around. Plenty of Cutts, Bows and Browns to keep you busy!

Hey Drew! Can a guy run a prop driven boat on the White? I have a 17ft. G3 and would love to make a trip over there. Thanks.
@LooknFishy3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, I guess 90% of the boats and all the rentals are props. Anything over 2 units and you're going to have a ton of water...minimum flow being the only issue. But you can always fish down river before it falls out.

@@LooknFishy Cool deal. It seems all the vids I watch are always jet drive. I need to start putting a trip together. Thanks

Nice trip! What weight of rod do you like from the boat on the white for nymph fishing? What size of tapered leader?
@LooknFishy3 жыл бұрын
Definitely a good time. I bring 10ft 4wt, 9ft 5wt and 9.5ft 6wt along with streamer rods to fish the changing flows. You could start in min where the 4wt is great but end up in 5 units heavy nymphing or throwing streamers. Leaders change with flow also but typically start 11.5ft to 4x with my dropper at 5x. I explain my gen nymph rig ( what I fish on my 4wt in the graphite v glass video...at the end)

Are there good places to wade fish there?

For sure under minimum flow, but not when the generate...and its been a high water year. A boat gives you more options.
