April 2024. First full day on the water. High winds and very clear conditions made it tough to land good casts without being detected.

On sunny days you need to avoid casting shadows on the water. Trout can sense this from far away and panicked Trout will race upstream alerting other Trout.

Yeah I agree. That was definitely the challenge in the morning on this day in the smaller stream. I could see them running before I knew what was going on. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
