Wooooooooooow. Amazingly explained and illustrated. Love how the geometry nodes are explained in a simple mathematical way and then shown "in use" inside of blender itself. Makes it so much easier to understand and apply in other situations. Great work!

All for what you mostly could do in particle boids in like 2 minutes. BUT geo nodes based swarm stuff can be way more powerful if you were able to make it so they could "land" on target objects like a nest or a light.

What immediately bugged me is you dont use integer as integer can only be 1 2 3 4 etc and no 1,1 1,2 etc

@@simonw.1223 Ah, I know what you mean! While you are correct that an Integer would always return a whole number I just wanted to demonstrate how the paths behave. In this fly-setup you actually want more crazy crooked numbers because they result in more random paths if you let enough time pass (see 2:04) :) Danke - das ist einfach nur eine Menge Handarbeit in Aftereffects. Kostet auch viel Zeit aber ich bin einigermaßen routiniert darin mittlerweile :D

@@Kammerbildyup I just need to rewatch it as I firgot how to maje the circle motion. awww welches programm könnte ich nutzen um solche effekte zu erstellen. Da auf davinci schaffe ich es irgendwie nicht. Irgendwelche Tipps oder alternativen.

@@simonw.1223 Hm was kostenloses kenne ich nicht. Leider gibt es gefühlt nicht so viele Programme im Bereich Motion design. Bislang denke ich, dass Aftereffects immer noch das beste Programm in dem Bereich ist. Leider - denn Adobe ist halt doof :D Davinci's Fusion war offengesagt die einzige andere Möglichkeit von der ich gehört habe die ähnliche Fähigkeiten wie aftereffect haben soll 🤔 Selber aber nie benutzt
