Cheeseboroughs have wingnuts we use Burton clamps to rig a flyswatter. No upright pipe rig built in the bucket necessary, we use two bucket T’s to attach the frame to the bucket and we use rope and climbing ascenders to adjust the angle. This is a poor design. Bucket T’s attach to the bucket and of course are shaped like a “t” they sit horizontal across the inside of the bucket and attach to the frame of the bucket at the front and the back mid railing, and a sleeves for the pipe sticks out of the front. The frame has a horizontal cross bar that is steel 20’ right in the middle of the frame, and can rotate in the sleeve. We attach rope tech rope to all four corners and they come back to the bucket and all are attached to climbing ascenders so that loosing some and tightening others will adjust the angle, it’s way better than this. I’m not sure if you guys have bucket T’s in local 80 but somebody needs to get you guys some. I always figured that local 80 would be at the cutting edge of this stuff at the bushiest level because all the gear comes from Burbank so you’d be using it first but what I’ve found so far is the opposite.

Using Burton’s to attach the frame to the bucket or as you call them, cheeseboroughs, is not as good as a bucket tee, which are thick steel sleeves and a totally closed system that doesn’t have an open gate that has a single fastener as a fail point.

Do you really need the guy in the bucket? You can operate this from the ground after it's been driven to place.
