Fly Trekker issue solved

I found that there was a significant amount of, what seems like lining material and foam backing pieces stuffed under the sun shade mechanism. It took some time and long tweezers, canned air, and removal of the sun shade lens to get it all out. The right side had the most material and the left had very little.
Now the ventilation is another issue. I found the liner moves a great deal and it blocks the ventilation off on one side and obstructs the other side by 40-60% in my estimation. I know it should be free to move as part of the protective abilities, but this has to be reduced to allow effective ventilation.
Now with that issue explained and solved, I will continue its use to confirm that was truly the causes.
