Materials:
Hind body:
Brown thread
Yellow silk
Bright colored ribbing material, I used a strip from a candy bag
Olive nymph skin / body stretch
Fly:
size 10-14 pupa hook
Brown thread
Monofilament eyes
Body, natural Hare's mask
Grouse body plumage for the under leggy material
Hen pheasant tail antennae
Olive body stretch thorax/wing case

That isn't nymph skin. It's called Thin Skin by Wapsi, made of vinyl, thinner than nymph skin.

I like to dead drift with or without indicator fly. Drop them in front of rocks and go around them. Close to vegetated deep banks etc. if you have nice floaty indicator go around rocks in a stream, it will pull the pupa and then give slack to leader and let the pupa tumble and roll in the fishes fov. thats what i think anyways....
