Hi Tim, Love your vids. Any chance you can zoom in more? it's hard to see some of the details. Thanks

Thanks, Mina, and I will see what I can do. If you're viewing on a computer, be sure to "full size" the screen. If on a device, such as a phone, turn it sideways so it goes "full screen." I hope that helps, and thanks again for the kind words. Tim

Nice Pattern... Our Sulphurs are a bit more to an orange than yellow however when it came to night fishing I always relied on a rusty spinner.. Will give these a try as I do have glo in the dark materials.. Thanks!

You're welcome, and substitute a rusty color for the body (they'll still work!). Thanks again for taking a moment to comment. Tim

Let me know how it works for you, as it's caught some nice fish over the years. Tim

PHWFF is awesome! it is where I got my start, and it is not where I volunteer every week.

My concern about the UV is he charged the fly in the beginning of the video, and as soon as he took the light away, the glow faded within seconds, which indicates to me that the UV material doesn't hold a charge, or did I miss something. Otherwise, awesome tie and awesome fly.

Jeff, as I mentioned to you via Facebook, the material we used during the filming was not the newest package of Flashabou. We recommend that you use the newest UV material you can find for this type of pattern. The flies that we used last summer held a charge for an adequate amount of time...and most importantly, caught fish! Thanks for the comment, and I'll be curious to hear about what others chime in with. Tim

Alternatively, you could use UV Fluorescent epoxy between the wings instead of a wing case
@archr6107 жыл бұрын
Yes, but epoxy is heavy and this is a dry fly.

Try adding tiny bit to the bottom of the thorax?
@TimCammisa4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, as many of the UV epoxies have little buildup. Thanks for the suggestion! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
