Thanks for the tips! I'm trying to configure a mount so I can attatch to my old Secraft tray so I can get some better support to free my hands from holding the remote and use a harness. Had a stroke over a year ago and still some weakness in the left arm. But I can still fly well.

I had purchased the PGYTECH "P-MRC-010" tablet stand, which I use in combination with a 8.7 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Lite and at times with my larger Galaxy Tab S3. Especially due to the foldable design (it easily fits in any bag), its construction and stable mount on the Mavic Air 2 Controller, I am very happy with the buy.

I just happened to be looking at the same Samsung galaxy tab seven light today at Best Buy. Nearly purchased it to mount on my controller for my Mavic three classic drone. Mind if I ask your opinion on its performance in size before I purchase?

@@exploringhorizonspeipowere5324 Of course that's very personal, but for me it fits its purpose perfectly. It is not too heavy during flights and gives a far better view than when using a phone. If I must mention a downside, then it's the fact that I don't have an LTE-version, so I have to use my phone (Galaxy S21) as hot-spot. Other than that, I am absolutely satisfied with my combo setup.

@alexshatner3907 I only have experience with the S21, Tab 7 Lite and Tab S8+ (which is far too heavy). I would always go for the Tab 7 and try to seek for the shadow to stand in... :-) From what I've heard, the Tab S9 Lite should have a better/brighter screen (contrast-wise)

Great video, I see that if using the tripltek with a mavmount, that it has to be off center because of the buttons, can the mavmount bracket be rotated 90° to hold the tripltek from the sides rather than top & bottom?

Great vid thanks... I have the DJI plastic one & you're right it does has some jiggle to it but still nice.. Been using my Smasung Z Fold 3 with it and works great... I also use my Samsung Tab S7+ 12.4 inch screen with that controller and just use a very small clip that hooks onto the antenna which works great!! Aloa suse the smaller clip for the Z Fold 3.... But that clamp with the ball head is great looking!! Might have to get that too lol.. Thanks again.. 🤘🇨🇦🤘

I'm new drone pilot. I have my IPad mini 4 hooked up to fly my mavic 3 using a Pgytech mount. Works great for mounting. I noticed quite a bit of lag or latency between inputs on the controller and what is observed on screen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been using the PGYTech tablet holder for both my 11” iPad without the cover and Note 10 with the case. There is a slot at one end for the cable. The best thing is that it packs away small enough to fit in the DJI bag.

Hi Aldryn Do you still use your Tripltek 8 inch Pro with the DJI Fly app? Since the last firmware upgrade and recent DJI Fly app updates, I have been experiencing a strange issue with my Tripltek 8 inch Pro, where the video randomly turns black during the flight. When it happens, I can still see all of the live telemetry, i.e. altitude, speed, battery, compass etc, and all the on-screen menus work, I just have no video. This can happen randomly at any point during the flight, it has happened as soon as 4 minutes, but has happened after 20 minutes). When it happens, if I was to unplug the USB C lead and plug it back in, the video is restored, but I don't want to be unplugging and plugging, as it will eventually wear the connection. Through trial & error I have worked out that if I open the album, then go back to the main screen, the video is then restored. It is not a major issue but it is very annoying, especially if it happens at a critical moment. I was wondering if you are still using your Tripltek 8 inch pro, if this has happened to you at all?

Make sure you are on the latest firmware. If not update the firmware and then update each battery by putting them in one by one and seeing if there’s another update.

Hi there I would not recommend you to buy any Mavmount products. They take your money, then they don't ship your product. I ordered a mount on 29 August 2022. You can only try to contact them thru there website email, but they don't respond to that at all. So be warned they steal your money
