this is not fake , and you can built it by your own. use lnyx amt microturbojet that can make over 300lb thrust each , mean that small board with 4 microjet below , can lift over 450 lb , fuel + etc 200 lb , and 550lb of payload :) flight control using quadcopter configuration in pixhawk to ajust the thurst of those 4 micro turbo jet. since all turbojet turn clockwise , you need edf to control the yaw , like this hoverboard. i believe , some one will built great diy quad microturbojet hoverboard like this, built is cheaper than buying ;))))))) or cnc built your own microturbojet if you have lot of money :)

Nonsense. Jets use up tons of fuel. Where's the fuel tank? Try watching White Rabbit project on Netflix. The scientists already explored the viability of a back to the future hoverboard. They had to build a huge platform powered by 6 giant propellers and it wasn't easy just to get of the ground

So I'm assuming a great percentage of this is carbon fiber which i guess had to be made with some heat resistant resin? Along with thin aluminum casings around the jets and the fuel is straped on his back. Looking closer its surprising that lipo on the side (which im assuming is to power controls and or what looks to be ducted fans on the sides) isn't damaged by the heat. I would love to get a closer look at how this thing was built.

Why, it is fake. That is only a throttle. With the need to make everything fit, why would they go with a wireless throttle, and only a throttle. What up? Oh and a small bag for fuel?

Some where there would have to be a battery to power the electric fans use to steer and to fire the engines up, but there is no separate throttle for them. His fuel bag has maybe 32 oz., maybe, 4 jet engines, all being controlled by a single throttle would only go straight up. Is there an on board computer? No. There are many pictures showing the engines through the intake and the only thing we see are fake jet engines. With all the requirements to get this off the ground, why would he choose to make it more complicated by having a wireless throttle yet only a gravity fuel system, no fuel pump anywhere. You claim to be so smart but you have only Franky's videos to make you claim. With all that I have said you would think Franky would be on here backing this up...but no...this is fake. And instead of doing something to prove it, you show it around at a major network, he announces it is sold to a company that designs trace evidence detection machines. Hmmmm

VlogLikeNoOnesWatching Just by the dimensions of available RC jet engines and fuel requirements for the amount of lift make his platform visibly fake. The so called jet engines we see under the platform are too tiny for the thrust required. His throttle is wireless and is merely a trigger. How would he perform spins. He has two tiny fans on each side for that purpose but he has no way of controlling them, let alone have a power source for them. There are many still photos of the platform and you can clearly see that the only thing inside it are four tiny RC jet engines. I saw some yellow liquid in clear tubing in the video, so its probably gas or diesel being tubed into a small combustion engine that's propelling a huge aluminum or carbon fiber fan pointed downwards a couple thousand times a minute pushing air downwards. overall its very plausible, but noone has bothered to do it. like most inventions.

Probably when the tech has been tweaked and wont rely on jet fuel and the amount of it it would take to lift a vehicle. Unless the vehicle itself is seriously altered and composed of super light materials. Google's "Lighter Than Air" and self-driven/self-flying technology + this concept would be wonderful for a flying vehicle, but I don't see it happening soon. It would still require a lot of fuel to transport, for example 4 people across country to visit relatives, but it would surely reduce overall cost and fuel needs, if a 3 hour drive could be reduced to 10 minutes, by darting across the sky, above roads, forests, fields and buildings, drawing a straight line from A to B.

Chicken Wing Robert Well, on the topic of "thrust", so far we've only- or at least mostly been lifting crafts by pushing wind by force and/or heat. We've recently discovered (or rather, confirmed) gravitational waves. Every action has equal and opposite reaction. I think something that could really advance the human race, both for transportation and space exploration, is to find its opposite. For this, though. I'm not talking about creating an equal opposite of the gravitational force of the Earth, which we couldn't possibly harness the energy for, but to rather "negate" to heavily reduced gravitational force that we experience on the surface. Enough to at least "lift" personal vehicles off the ground. I've seen more videos of this FlyBoard® and the air blast coming out of this thing wouldn't be very practical. One thing for sure... your driveway would be free of any fallen leaves, but it would also be _free of everything else_ not firmly anchored to the ground. lol

Like simply covering your eyes with your hands to stop/limit the waves of light you can see- then if, cutely put, "covering" the gravitational waves from an object, like say, a car, at least to some extent, would lighten the load, at least with the pull of the Earth. How to utilize this to create push in other directions... dunno. Maybe leave that up to the jet thrust, unless you can somehow create directional "push" by causing imbalance in the gravitational pull/negation of the vehicle. Like titling a helicopter down to create a push forward.

The 4 turbines used for lift thrust must be cheaper (about 30 000 Euros) the little two for horizontal mouvements is 200 Euros each. For the rest, i agree.
