It's 6 days at sea next. Will we survive???

Glad to see the weather has improved and the sun is shining. Scary dressing up night! I didn't realise you could drink aloe vera.

I didn't mind the taste although Mel wasn't a fan.

Is Neil Oliver Ents Manager (Cruise Director) nice to see you heading to the sun.Capt Wally in Antigua on the Wadildi Cats is a great trip.Typical Spanish tour tons of churches.Did they dive the Gomerian cheese (from La Gomera) smooth,spreadable and very spicy it’s a must for us to bring back from Tenerife

Yes, he was the Cruise Director. Unfortunately, we didn't get to Antigua on this trip.

@@flydriveexplore thanks for the info I knew Neil when he was a junior ents officer on Canberra and his partner Capt Paul Brown was 4th officer.Have cruised with them so many times and Anne,myself and Neil always managed a beer or two after ents had wound up for the evening

Hi Marcus, when you have a pause in your search for a bit of crafty frigging in the rigging whenever Mel's back is turned, could you put my confusion and curiosity at rest by letting me know whether you are a fully blown vegetarian or do you just prefer the odd vegetarian dish from time to time? As an aside, I have the impression that off-seasoning cruising is stuffed full to the gunwales with well-to-do pensioners swarming everywhere you go like a plague of locusts. Just like any mid-week sunny day in the Mumbles. Where they descend en masse in their new shiny SUVs, taking up all the parking spaces and swamping all the half-decent cafes. They drive me bonkers and have caused me to loathe the southern part of the Gower, much preferring Cwm Ivy.
@flydriveexplore10 ай бұрын
Nope I'm not vegetarian but not a fan of meat unless it's heavily spiced or flavoured like in curry. I think you have to go on Fred Olsen cruises to get the real pensioners.

If you do not like dressing up Marcus I guess you have never been to Twelfth Night in Porthcawl.
@flydriveexplore10 ай бұрын
The infamous Porthcawl twelfth night, no I haven't been.
@barrycrump618910 ай бұрын
Marcus does indeed enjoy dressing up. You'll be shocked at the things he wears under all that hiking gear. Kenny Everett's Mr Angry of Mayfair doesn't come close.

@@flydriveexplore we moved to France in 2008, so we haven't been in recent years either, but really enjoyed it especially when they moved it to the Hi-Tide.
