As a backspot, I legit dive for my flyer. I sprained my ankle doing it and my coach made me run it off. Then I went on crutches and had to stay out of cheer for two weeks. It hurts when no one cares

​@@ieatwatermelontbh as a base and now as a backspot, I feel your pain, I noticed my two bases were not balanced with each other and when we were supposed to do the cradle, I told them not to, but they didn't want to get coach mad and they did it anyways and long story short my coach had to give me the concussion test because I made sure to catch my flyer even if it meant almost doing a full back bend and making sure she was nowhere near the ground

@@itsangel5270 dude I wish I had you’re coach. I was a front spotter for a new flyer going from double bass to extension. She went up and came right back down on my head and knocked me out cold. Coach didn’t do any concussion tests and had me go back to spotting right away.

Never scream in a stunt you just scare your bases that makes them not catch you. Our coach would kill us it is a rule don’t do it again and just carry on you could of easily done it . To the flyer if you fall get up don’t sit there you are not doing your team any good .😅😢
