It's really good if you give your back and muscle a break from stretching. Doing it every night gives you a bigger chance of pulled or over stretched muscles. It's good to stretch one day, then rest the next. Or rest every 2 days. I had my needle but ended up over stretching my back and now I can barely pull a scorpion. My doctor told me that I over worked my muscles. But I honestly think it varies from person to person. That's just what I was told. Love your video! :)

I don’t have a back spot- so it’s extremely hard bc all stunts I’m in have 3 people, 2 bases, and me

Hi! Please help me. I just started cheer and i was put as a front spotter and I really want To try flying and prove that I can be a flyer it's my dream and i don't want to tell my coach that i want to fly but I want to show it to her. PLEASE SOME ADVICE

Ok sorry if this is long but I’m a flyer but I want to be a flyer in more stunts plus some of the girls on my team are even saying that I’m the best flyer and we only have three stunts but the third one is missing a back spot so they can only go to prep I’m not in that group but I really wanted to be in a basket. And I got really depressed after choreo so now I I’m not even that happy at cheer but here is my advice so if you are flexible you can do flyer poses like not all the time but try an make it so the coaches like notice and two maybe try an do the same thing as the first one but mock the stunt and be as tight as you can while you are mocking the stunt please update me on your cheer journey 😊

I need this so bad I'm a junior two moved down from senior 2 because I moved teams and had to be a base my coach wanted to see my skills so I did it I have been a flying for 5 years now and I'm pretty good at it

Every time my stunt falls my bases and back spot always blame it on me even if I didn't do anything. Like if my coach asks why the stunt fell they will immediately say that I wasn't tight, stuck my butt out, etc. and I know sometimes I do those things but they make it seem like it's always me. It's so annoying!

I am a flyer too. It is part of being a flyer to take the blame for the whole stunt. When I am in the air, and I know the stunt will come down I squeeze so tight so my coaches notice that its not my fault we are falling. This way the coaches can help your group and you can figure what is actually wrong with the stunt.

I never knew how much a comment could relate to me... until this one... My stunt group is a mess!!! My bases don't look at each other and my back holds my calves and they always blame ME if we come down uneven or fall. I'm so happy my season's over so next year I could get a new group!! My only advice is to tell them some corrections. After all, YOU'RE the one in the air and possibly the one at most danger.

Have you ever considered that they're right? If both your bases and your backspot is saying it they're probably right.

Jillian Michelle In my case, I admit when I'm wrong. But if I physically feel one hip higher than the other while pushing up, if we fall, I know its not my fault. My bases didn't go up evenly. In that case (which happens most of the time I fall) they all blame me, including the backspot. So sometimes they are right, and then I admit it and try to correct it. But most of the time, they're uneven and my backspot doesn't help either. So I'm kind of stuck with the blame. It also doesn't help that my bases and backspot are all best friends with each other and I don't talk to them that much (they're all stuck up😂) So of course they're going to blame me bc they want to cover their friends...

Ok so I'm a base and my stunt group was doing front cradles and my flyer came down on my head and I almost got a concussion and my coach told her that she came down wrong and she still blamed me

Your bases need to squeeze. Your foot more. My bases do it and it helps so much!

It doesn't matter. People think it matters how much you weigh but it depends on if your technique is good and if your confident in the air and your flexible it doesn't matter if you weigh 120 pounds.

Are you going to be on level 3 or 4 next season? Because you were on level 2, but you already have your back tuck. (And layout, I think)

I may be wrong but I think she is on two teams. Its called a cross over

This season she is on a level 1 team and a level 2 team. Next season she'll probably be on a level 4, if her gym has a level 5 then maybe level 5. But definitely at least level 4.

i started cheer when i was 11 or 12 and i started on level 1. They would put you with people your own age. for you most likely a junior team. I have only been cheering for 3 years and I'm already on a level 4 team so you just have to work really hard to get onto the higher level teams.
