Quick question - I hear a lot of concern over players not being waiver exempt and the fear of teams losing them. Aside from salary (which is often a consideration when claiming a player put on waivers), isn't it true that a player claimed MUST stay on the teams NHL roster? If so, I would think that would be just as important a consideration - you wouldn't want to claim a marginal player who then takes a roster spot....
