Guild Wars 2 and ESO veteran here. Played Flyff during early 2000s along with ragna rose ran cabal etc name it I surely played it. Gave this universe version a try and I would say NO IT'S NOT WORTH ANYONE"S PRECIOUS TIME IN 2024. I am very particular with fashion wars so transmuting fashion is my thing although it cost 500k penya in flaris but removing it cost $$. It's horrible! Marketplace is ARCHAIC, OLD, NO UPGRADE from the OG. Recent MMO's have marketplaces where every player can access it anywhere in the map and has some filtering system to know which one is the cheapest to buy for a newbie but in universe NO, you have to go to towns and waste time searching for an item which takes sooo much time and sometimes if one is unlucky you will mistakenly buy the OP one. And the list goes on...

In contrastly I like market mechanic in this game It's like you need to walk in the wide market for find cheapest and most value item in real life. Sometime If you lucky you will find a very cheap item that you can re-sell it to make profit

The game will only show the ping between the VPN node & the game. Your ping to the VPN node on its own, Is likely not much better than your ping to the game server itself. It's extra points for data transfer so in most cases your connection ends up worse.

I made like 5 accounts and had some fun. It's just as P2W as it used to be. Awakening isn't in this version of the game so the gear is kinda simple. I really wish they went the Path of Exile direction of crafting and monetization where money is made on extra bank space and cosmetic offerings. Path of Exile has the BEST crafting system of any game where the currency is actually orbs that allow you to change aspects of the gear, and those orbs drop from mobs based on difficulty. If only Gala went that direction. I always said Flyff could have been one of the best games ever made and maintained if they removed P2W.

It's worth it for maybe a month but then you gonna realise how this game is designed. On 78lv monster give you 0,02-0,04% and that's the point when you understand, that game force you to PAY for exp boost. If you're not paying, developers have a message for you "f*ck you and your time". This game gonna die very fast.

@@Marvda Irrelevant. Paying any kind of money for any kind of stat gain is P2W - in Flyff's case this is statted fashion. In WoW's case, this is buying a token for $20, selling it on the AH and buying a piece of gear off the AH.

there are limits on the use of hp recovery, it wasn't there before, I don't know if you can open your own store, I open it but you can't see it because it covers my screen and the buttons are blocked, I prefer not to take the risk if you have to pay some coins and the store is the basis of mmo games but I feel like I'm being cheated, played in the beta I was offline for 2 years If you have any information, please write

-Its pretty worth trying to scratch that nostalgia itch. Game has no auto so its all manual. -Is it p2w? For pvp yes. But game is 90% grinding on mobs. You dont need super high lvl gear for PvE. -Game is cross platfrom. You play with pc users aswell as mobiles users. -You can stay f2p and still progress a lot.

Actually F2P players can progress in PVE slowly but not A LOT.
