Best trails in MI; beautiful riding. Just wish you would have filmed more of the mixing bowl at the end of Acer / Enlightener. That is a special series of elements.

Hey Matt. I can't argue it not being one of the best trails in MI...we had an absolute blast riding it. What are the "mixing bowls"?

My boys and I didn't make it to Palmer Woods last summer, but will defeinitely go this July. Thanks for the great views! Question: what is the difference between "old school singletrack" (Acer and Enlightener I assume) and "new machine designed flow trail"? I'm not an experienced mountain biker, so I don't get the terminology. Thanks

Machine is groomed, smooth, clean lines, big built berms and very flowy. Old school would be considered rooty, rocky, natural trail. Hope that helps.

Hit up Google for Palmer Woods in Glen Arbor and you’ll find stuff. Or look it up on trailforks. It’s a great trail!!

Haha...yeah, there's upper and lower Michigan. Technically this would be the "upper lower". ;)
