I got to fly one of these once, it was the greatest handling twin I ever got to fly, really liked it. BUT it had really bad brakes where the brake drums where part of the rims and harsh braking action on short runways caused the tire to overheat and the inner tube to fail. So I got to experience and inner tube change on this type as well. - Good memories. Best Regards from Alaska.

Thanks for your comment, mate. I really appreciate any bit of feedback. And yes, the brakes can be a real issue, especially during the hot summer months in continental Europe. You end up favouring an uphill runway over a favourable headwind!

@@LiborSmolik Thanks for your instant response! Yeah this was in the hottest summer days of 1995 in Sweden, I cannot remember the name of the airplane owner for the live of me, but a really good guy. I can look up the registration of the plane back then. I can find the name of the owner as well, I bet. Regards from Alaska.
