Yeah there are kites flying all over the place but not often in a big group like that. Just have to watch out for all the lines connecting them to the ground 😅 Thanks for the support 😃

Yeah I've flown around singular kites many times and I'm pretty good at spotting the lines. When I saw all of those I couldn't resist. The Avata 2 would likely just bounce off the line if it hit it anyway as they're under a lof of tension. But yeah, just got to be a vigilant. But like you said, the resulting footage is insane! @@JustinBainbridgeYT OK update! Took her out today for first flight! OMG I was so nervous lol. Put it in angle mode just to start, then just did a little hover and back and forth, then landed. I have done a lot of hours in acro now on PC sims and in RL with the Avata 2, so whacked her into acro and away I went. DUDE!!! IT WAS AMAZING!! The Nazgul handles so well, it just goes where you want it to go. Gotta admit I was bricking it though 😂, my legs were shaking and had an adrenaline dump 😳, but all went well and didn’t crash so that was good haha! My drone family is now complete with the mini 4 pro, Avata 2 and the Nazgul!! Thank you for your advice and help!

Quite a lot of homework to get here though eh? You have to do quite a bit of research for a lot of things. Tools needed, batteries and chargers, the rules for charging Lipos etc, I might start looking into how to fix certain parts, I don’t wanna get into building, especially when iFlight can build something like this which is tuned to perfection. But might be nice to know basic skills for fixing small problems etc.

OK 2nd flight today and was fine! Got over my nerves now and getting used to flying this bad boy!! It’s incredible. I still love my Avata 2 but this handles in a much different way and goes where you put it. If I try some of the same moves with the Avata 2 it freaks out and stalls and/or prop wash etc. The Nazgul is a beast!! Horses for courses though I guess. The mini 4 pro is my nice Sunday stroll good for those smooth cinematic shots, the Avata 2 is when you wanna put your foot down a bit and pedal to the metal, I.e sports car and then the Nazgul is an out all fighter jet plane suitable for all those high speed flying needs! 😂

Hey! I don't, I find it's much easier to fly cinematic with the FPV3 controller. Motion control is good for some things, but its not my choice of controller. SOme tips would be to try and keep you movements very smooth. I know the motion controller is quite responsive and can make it harder to get smooth shots. 😃

@homempassaro-el6vl Yep, I only fly in Manual mode on the Avata 2 in these videos. Sometimes, I'll use normal mode for something else, but 99.9% of the time, I'm flying in Manual. You just can't get the same shots with other flight modes. Just take it step by step if you want to learn Manual. Use a simulator first, and then once you're comfortable, you can fly in real life. 😃

Nope, the signal was strong all the way. I did some tests before to make sure the signal would be okay, and then I just went for it haha luckily it all worked out 🤙😃

I use ELRS for my radio link, but otherwise, there are no changes in the software or betaflight. I was running longer 150mm iFlight albatross antennas, but they won't have made much difference at such close range. Maybe you need to do the ham hack with the ham file to get you full FCC signal strength. CE output is really, really bad on the DJI Fpv systems

Yeah this is all flown in manual mode with the FPV 3 controller. It takes. abit of time to learn to fly in manual but you can fly straight away using the motion controller and still get some cool shots. Ah nice! where about are you headed in Bali? 😃

Great job Justin 🙌 Avata 2 is a very nice drone but is very risky to fly with it in a windy weather as on Kelinking Beach, it just blows your drone from the dive.

Hey! the FAA recenlty updated the rules for flying over people. You are now allowed to fly over people as long as you are just traversing over them like in this video. Sustained hovering above people or crowds is where you now need to file for permits etc. 😃

Thank you brother! I just took a look at the video and it looks like the wind to me, when you spin around it tilts the other way into the wind still. Just need to get moving or fly in manual mode and you won't notice it as much. 😃
