FLYING AN RC ROCKET GLIDER WITH LIVE FLYING DATA ON THE SCREEN ROY DAWSON VIDEO

This was an old V tail glider I had in my garage. Then I started thinking with the V trail I could modify the glider for rocket power. It's a G motor for power.
7.5 ft wing span and weighs in at 43 oz. It's fun and challenging to try different things in this hobby.

nope. your tower is just not adequate for the model. it was permitted to "pivot" in the tower. you can see the wires are loose and being "flicked" up they did not drag the model down. the thrust angle did that all on its own. you need a larger sturdier tower to "restrict" the model movement just a bit longer to let aero take over. Double the length of those rods and nail that launcher down. the "whole launcher" pivoted with the glider on ignition.

Agree. Had nothing to do with the wire. Up elevator is also necessary at takeoff since the engine is some ways off on top to the center line.

Because the rocket motor is not in perfect alignment to the flight axis, it stands above the wing and creates a rotational moment. The taller the rocket motor mount and the longer the arm, the worse the problem will be. Having a stiffer, more stable launching platform, and one that is longer, should also help.
