My dad owned this plane and I have a number of flights in it. Such a wonderful airplane. I'm glad others are enjoying it now.

I sure miss those low and slow rides on a warm summer day. Wonderful video of the Fleet. I really enjoyed watching this. I wish I could post pics here. You would see the smile on my face while riding in it.

We owned this plane for about 12 years before its brief sojourn to Texas, and now to New York. Andrew you did a great job explaining the plane. We are so pleased it ended up in Skaneateles. My Grandmother, Great Aunt and my dad’s two brothers raised their families there. Spent a lot of our childhood there... and now our plane is there. Great video. I miss her. Thanks for great video Dewey.

I really enjoy this sort of video. Nice to see an antique actually be used and to show a little patina from that use.

Thanks for the explanation about the 16B connection. When you said this was one-of-a-kind I was like, wait. It looks too familiar to be a one-off. 16B did use the Kinner and there is at least one I've seen with a J-6-5 Whirlwind. But it's long been an all-time favorite. Great walk-around! I'm ready to go fly!

I love biplanes. I started my pilot career on Antonov-2, and it was best experience in my life. I had engine failure during the flight 4 times. and also one time I had a tailspin during landing roll. But I think, only on biplane you can have experience of real flight. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with american biplanes yet. Thank you for video.

Man you always have fantastic videos! I love the old XL but it’s my dream to fly some of these older airplanes, it’s my true passion! Very jealous, love it!

Fleet is still around making parts for other companies. Actually the tigermoth was used more in WW2 for training by the RCAF, then the fleet. Canada made over a 1000 tigermoths. The fleet did make another trainer, a monoplane but it handled so well it was used for training navigators instead of pilots.

I'm guessing they had a lifting tail because of the rear passenger configuration which is the real oddity.
