Flying close to a Boeing Poseidon P-8 in my own little plane!

**DISCLAIMER - I don't actually race a Poseidon in this video. It would be awesome, but I suspect it might win. I'd also trash my plane!**
It's not every day you land up sharing airspace with one of the most technologically advanced aircraft in the Royal Air Force - a Boeing Poseidon P-8! When I initially saw it I wasn't sure what I was looking at, but suffice to say it had probably seen me before it even took off from RAF Leuchars!
This was a great flight, with some spectacular views of the Firth of Forth.

Your voice sounds so relaxed anyone would think you were on holiday... In the mid 80s I was at RAF Dishforth on a Saturday gliding. We'd seen the BBMF Lancaster fly up the opposite side of the A1 and then though nothing else of it. A short while later I was on an aerotow, when all of a sudden I noticed movement. The Lancaster was flying back down the A1, closer to the airfield, and we were flying over it. I turned around to see the instructor in the back, face glued to the window. Awesome sight.

No need to worry about the Poseidon.....they could see what you had for breakfast and what colour pants you had on, a long time before you were visual with them!😂
