I usually only Fly BA to Nigeria and back. There are some planes that have 2, 4, 2. Seating arrangements mid way down the flights in Economy. They are usually about 40pds or more to choose those seats but the trick is to set an alarm for the start of the 24hrs to check in and you can book those 2 seats for free. More leg room and space for your bags while sharing with only one passenger. Great for couples flying Economy together.

Sassy! I made it! Isn't that wonderful? I almost always ask for the exit row seats when I fly economy. As far as I'm concerned, economy seats are not made for people over 6 feet tall. I did special order my food when I travelled to Singapore 🇸🇬 on Singapore Airlines some years back! This airline is the best! By the way, as a general rule, the passenger in the middle (in economy class) seat gets both armrests 😊.

"economy seats are not made for people over 6 feet tall" - I 100% agree with this statement. I absolutely love Singapore airlines too. Such an amazing airline. Re:the passenger in the middle seat getting both armrests...hmmm i am not sure many will agree but thinking about it it actually makes sense
@reitaebohon78532 жыл бұрын
I guess that armrest thing is true because both Isle and window seat have the left and right armrest. 😆

Funke, All these suggestions you're making are actually correct but you're missing the payment piece, those extra perks and conveniences come with additional or extra fees. Try it with KLM/Air France and you will understand what am saying.

Another tip for flying Premius Eco or Even Biz is trying to check-in same time as someone who has a biz or first-class ticket. Maybe some you know because a random person won't allow you check-in together with him/her.

Sassy, As always I made it. When I am flying long haul in Economy class, I usually when I have to pay always get the emergency exit seats or sometimes ask for them, but usually those seats are for sale. I am a silver tier skyteam member, thus open to some benefits that business class flyers have and sometimes do get upgrades to premium Economy class.I usually check in online only to get to the airport and do a bag drop off. For me it has always been convenient flying Economy class. Catch you on the next one, Ciao!!!!

Most airlines use their oldest planes for Nigeria routes outside VA A350, step up AF/KLM/DL. Time for the Goverment to upgrade the facilities and runway facilities for the A380s. .

Hey Sassy, would you recommend paying to reserve a seat before travelling. I will be travelling to Nigeria soon from the U.K and I really wouldn’t want to be in a situation that I might not be able to board if the flight has been fully booked. I haven’t flown for a while so any advice would be deeply appreciated!
@SassyFunke3 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s best to pay to reserve those extra legroom seats if you can. Flights to Nigeria can be very packed especially in the economy cabin
@reitaebohon78532 жыл бұрын
If the flight is fully booked, the airline has an obligation to make sure you fly and if they cannot, they could pay you to fly the next day or move you up for free. People have flown higher classes for free for this reason. But, to get free and sometimes good seating, wait till the 24hr mark, as most seats become free. Except you paid for priority booking then you can check in earlier.

I am sorry, but I totally disagree with you Sassy. You have the luxury of travelling First class, all the time, you must accept not all travellers can. Secondly, you are the first person to ever say,, "travelling @Economy class is something else"; what ever that means. There are Economy classes on all Airlines, and these have been using worldwide. I do not know if you advocating that people should only travel on Business class.
@MAJESTIC19983 жыл бұрын
🌹Business class and economy class has nothing to do with it, from my point of view,your tips ... I won't buy it, but if you tell me, how to make your tourist class more comfortable, then it seems fine to me , You can never have the same business class accommodation in economy class, no matter how many seats you have for yourself or have headphones for noise cancellation, that has nothing to do with business, this video seems a bit insulting, I think calling fools those who pay to travel in business.🤔🤔
