Hello, Sassy. I really enjoy your videos and I watch them almost every day. I have a request to make. Will it be okay if you do videos where you fly internationally via Abuja Airport. For example: Abuja go Los Angeles via British Airways, Abuja to Seoul via Emirates, Abuja go Toronto via Air-France, Abuja to Hawaii via Lufthansa etc. it doesn’t matter where the final destination is, as far as it’s from Abuja.

Thanks for your content, and advice on travel to Nigeria, I have learned a lot. I disagree about this video, I am not rich but I always travel to Nigeria on business. I do not think that traveling for business is something for the rich, it depends on your mind-set and how you value things, there are people who prefer to have BIG house and others prefer SMALL house, but luxuries. Each one travels on business for different reasons, but there is common ground between them, COMFORT And RAPIDITY, the comfort you have in business, you will not have it in any of the classes, for me, my comfort and time is priceless, if we look at the premium and business price, quality-price relationship, busines is cheap, if you plan your trip well, you have business class between 1700 and 2200 euros. Remember that the day you die, you will leave with nothing, enjoy this life, is very SHORT, if you think you are poor you will always be poor, dn't forget it.Greeting from Spain🌹🌹

Big kudos to you over the quality of the production. No fooling around, not repeating yourself continuously, straight to the point and no irritating background music being played as you spoke, meaning I could concentrate fully on what you are saying. I hope you keep up this style in your future projects. Another reason you should have given is that flying Business from London to Nigeria is too short, a mere 6hrs and so not worth the money you pay. Ironically it can be cheaper flying a 12+ hr business flight to beautiful Asia than the 6hr to Lagos and the treat is worth spending your own money on. I did this early 2020 when I flew Business class on Qatar where you are given Suites as seats. I will readily spend my money again for the experience as I don’t need to wait for any company to sponsor me.

Funky you’re speaking my language in this video. I flew round trip California to New York twice this summer. Each time I bought a coach seat and ended up getting upgraded to first class! The last trip I was actually upgraded to delta one with the lay flat seats. I did use my miles to upgrade from coach to premium economy and then from there I got upgraded to first class. The miles I used, I didn’t even earn from flying. I earned from making everyday purchases. I enroll in different programs the airline offers. Two examples. Every time I use a ride share (Lyft) I earn miles. Delta also has a shopping program if you use their link you earn miles and bonus miles. I ordered a new service with an internet provider so I got a bonus of 3000 miles!

Thanks for sharing. I have had the privilege of being upgraded to premium economy and now addicted. I actually ask before boarding if I can be upgraded every time I travel to Nigeria. It never hurts to ask, worse case, they say no. Another perk having a business class ticket is the use of the business class lounges at the airports, out of this world experience. Keep up the great work!

The first time I flew business class, it was booked by my daughter, I learnt something that day ,which is ,there are some things you need to experience before you leave this earth, though money made it possible, the experience is priceless. I also noticed, when you are in the lounge, is quite a different world but when you come out from the lounge, you are brought back to the crazy and noisy world. And when you travel business class or first class, you don't feel the travel that much .So if you can afford it, is something worth doing because life is short

Hello Sassy, the last time I flew economy class to Nigeria, it was rather uncomfortable due to my height. I was actually researching premium economy options on airlines that offer service to Lagos and from my research, most of the European and US based airlines offer premium economy services. So, for my next flight to Nigeria, I will most likely fly Virgin Atlantic's premium economy. Economy class is getting too uncomfortable for me nowadays.

I completely agree with you that the economy class cabin is becoming very uncomfortable for many people especially taller people like yourself. Premium is a much better option.

I have an opinion on classes. The plane and all the passengers are sorely dependent on a pilot to fly safely to their destinations. With the current Pandemic situation, flights are often not full. You can sit comfortably even at the economy coach.. I have flown business class a few times. But slept 😴 through..too tired to even eat!

During the peak of the pandemic, yes most flights were not full and I enjoyed flying economy as I would have a full row to myself. But that has changed now, especially on Nigeria bound route, flights are becoming packed to the brim again

Business class is good if you can afford it , the food, wines and entertainment in the lounges are very relaxing but my concern is the experience of business class around the world is quite different from the experience of business class from London to Nigeria, especially with British Airways. . For some unexplained reasons, my 2 pieces of hand luggage and a hand bag was okay from the States to London but from London to Nigeria those their Indian rude ground staffs ,said it was not allowed even though I was in business class, one of my hand luggage was now checked in, and I was so upset, I did not eat, and I told the staff that if anything get missing, I will sue British airways. But my security badge was by the side bag, apparently that discouraged whoever was trying to ransack the bag. This was in 2019 december, since then, I vowed not to follow British airways or go through London, I follow KLM through Amsterdam or Air France through Paris.

Funke, people with platforms like yours should lead a campaign against the current exploitation of Nigerians by airlines. 12 hour flights to US from UK cost less than 5/6 hour flights to Nigeria? Are we okay? And the rudeness of the staff is unparalleled. No 1 culprit is BA. No Nigerian should fly BA. if we can mount a campaign, things will change. I must say Virgin is excellent in customer service and staff civility, but price of tickets is not fair, by any stretch of the imagination. Discrimination continues by communal silence of the many. Thanks for the great job you do.

Hi Sassy, I think that airlines charge huge amounts of money for Business Class ONLY on routes that are heavily used by business people who DO NOT pay for their tickets, and their employers dont mind spending 5000$ on a business ticket. Others travelling in business may be travelling on their awards miles, and the rest are probably the ones you asked to skip that video. So i dont really think anyone was about to spend that kind of money unless they were ones of the clients i described above. Would someone who does not have plenty of money spend 4000-5000$ for 6 hours? Dont think so. The only good advise in your video was regarding buying an economy plus seat during pick travel times when economy is way overbooked. There's a good chance for an upgrade. However if you still want to travel in comfort to and from Nigeria, you can choose an airlines that is not offering nonstops from London, via Addis,( lond trip) Istanbul, Casablanca,Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris and you may find a reasonable fare as these airlines may want to compete on the London route, but with a stop over they must reduce their fares. However the nonstop market to LON , will never cater to the budget oriented guys like you and me. Thanks Sassy, and a Happy Independence day to all Nigerians.
