@@DPWestMids-u3c thank you! Indeed, I didn’t feature that one as much as I should have given how well it went down, it was the wine which appeared at the top left of the menu, it was a 2015 Pessac-Léognan from France :)

Great review - thank you and an affordable way to experience what is still my favourite First product. The wine offering is one of the things that set it apart with only Qatar and Singapore close. The whole product and accompanying service really shows just how far Emirates are ahead of the likes of the British and US carriers.

I’ve done that lounge for 5 hours and it was lovely. Was quiet so had staff coming to me to top up my champagne without me even leaving my seat!

wonderful review as always, first class Emirates is one of my goals, i would demolish as much of that four course menu as possible but i have a tiny apetite, that amount of caviar and blinis alone would've stuffed me lol!!!! shower looked amazing. its a shame they didnt do the matress for you, they should have. you are a pro at polishing off different drinks on board, i would be woozy after white, champers, red then desert, your fine pallate was clearly i think made for this !! keep bringing us these reviews! xx

Wot an absolute bargain!!!!! Several times you looked like you were going to explode with anticipation and excitement. Is it the best 1st class?....for an outgoing product it still beats most other airlines, but not all. Great detailed report, Emirates will be cutting you a cheque,..ha!!

For sure was! Hahahah glad that bit came through on the video. For me, I’d actually put the Qatar product ever so slightly ahead when I experienced it as preferred the cabin but for an outgoing product my goodness it’s good. Didn’t feel in any way tired in the cabin, everything so so well maintained and presented. They can cut me a flight if they’d like aboard their newer cabins so I can compare and contrast…hint hint anyone from Dubai listening hahaha

The crew were fantastic and I was given everything from amenity kits, pyjamas, the Emirates bag and so much more. The crew even had the Polaroid out snapping pictures. I did this flight a couple weeks ago. It was so good! Same flight now is £700/£800! Emirates have definitely bumped up the price for this flight knowing so many people do it!

How did you manage to get this price I have tried but the price is double this amount for one way or £1200 for return !

Would recommend doing one way in first and going for a cheaper cabin on the return, a quick search just now based on dates next year highlights fares around £500 each way for first and around £250 for business. Only flex available however so would look out for any sale prices. May just have been I was lucky as did book a long time in advance 👍

Booked as a return, flown earlier in the month, they do seem to have upped the pricing a bit. Would recommend doing first one was and back another cabin to manage costs if you’re keen to experience it!

There have been lots of KZbin videos about this ticket - maybe Emirates are doing some cashing in? I've seen some Google Flights screen shots from late July and the the prices then for BKK-HKG in First in October/November ranged from £688 to £789.

@@peterhastings703 I feel as though there may have been a price movement potentially on the route as it has gained a lot of interest since I booked it. It’s still remarkably good value especially when compared to searches I’ve done say Dubai - Muscat (their shortest) but the non flex cheaper first tickets will be tricky to get now. One to consider getting using a few EK points also…
