I totally understand the nervousness of buying new equipment. But you need it for your profession. So, what's my excuse? I bought a Sony Alfa A7 last year when I retired, just because. I still don't know how to use it properly, but just had to have it. That was a $1,000 + gulp in my throat. I also own a gimbal which I've never been unable to calibrate. It was a B’day present. At least your purchase was more than an impulse. It was a necessity. What happened to your old camera? Was that a trade-in? You guys are the best ambassadors our country could ever have. I’m a professional photographer and I upgraded to a whole new set last August. I understand how terrifying and hard upgrading is. However, as most have said it’s an investment into your business, a tax write off, and for the betterment of your video quality. I dropped just shy of $15,000 and I must say, I’m A LOT happier than I was before hand. The images I can capture for my clients are of a whole new level. And that was what the investment was all about at the end of the day, the next level! Cheers!

A fun fact, do you know which city is the biggest Kurdish city in the world??? Nope not Erbil, Diyarbakır nor Sanandaj, it is Istanbul with 3 million Kurdish population :)) By the way i hope you checked prices before buying the camera from Turkey due we have very high taxes for electronics in Turkey and usually it is more expensive than US or Asia but prices are similar to Europe and you could actually get it cheaper due to the value difference between dolar and lira but it isn't an option for us Turks due we only earn lira...

I am a wedding photographer. I have to make large purchases for my gear every few years and it always takes my breath away. Quality professional equipment is expensive but necessary. This is part of your growth and the next step for your channel/business. The one thing that helps me get through those times of spending a lot of money is that you can write it off on taxes as a business expense!!!
