Heading to Belize in February 2025 and really looking forward to it. We're probably staying in the Hopkins or Placencia areas, as it seems Ambergris Caye is not the experience I'm looking for. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hopkins is very laid back and has good qualities about it. Placencia is a bit larger but still laid back with more restaurants, bars, and activities. I think experiencing both is a great idea!
