Hey launching from any Miami-Dade County park is indeed against county ordinance and is a misdemeanor. So not sure why you told the internet it was completely legal without verifying. That could get some other pilots in a bit of a jam with the authorities.

even the police last time I was there told me it was ok, maybe I was told incorrectly from them!

@@ChuckyWright the person who kicked you out was a park employee not a cop as in your title. It’s usually the park employees who get on us and then call the cops. Just letting you know that it’s not legal there in Miami-Dade parks even if the particular officer you encountered was cool with it. That may not always be the case. So telling the kind folks on the interwebs that it is legal could get them into trouble if they start contesting the matter with the officers on scene.

I use to live across from the Haulover Inlet, over On Biscayne and 151st. I can see my old condo building in the take off. I also worked in Sunny Isles Beach, beautiful places, along with Fisher Island.

@Kiki Canjar 😂 it's a paramotor! They are super fun, and it is an incredible way to fly! I would highly suggest getting professional training from a reputable instructor so you can learn on school gear and get a good idea of what you want to buy. It's a bit of an investment, but what sport isn't? 🤷‍♂️ It will cost around $15,000 with training. Best money I have ever spent!

Serious note: please get 4k60fps recording capability. If not for KZbin viewers, then for your own sake. Maybe learn a liiittle bit of color grading on video edits, and your videos could double as both "classic American boy-next-door flies through the air" and beautiful, breathtaking landscapes in HDR. The resolution+framerate change alone would boost viewership exceptionally.
