Set the standards? The only thing EK knows how to not set is the MCP so the incoming crew can turn a 777 in to a cruise missile, 260 knots and still on the runway because the FD “didn’t tell them” to take off.
@Jpmrvz2 жыл бұрын
this is an awful initiative, the academy costs more than 200k the two years for foreign students, an absoute insult to any person looking for legit pilot training, not even a guaranteed job and since it's emirates, chances are you´ll end up without a job at emirates and -200kUSD
@youtubemodsaresnowflakelef76922 жыл бұрын
@@NovaScotiaKevin Yeah isn't Emirates one of those airlines that insists pilots do nearly everything on autopilot and heavy use of flight director etc? I mean others do it too to some degree, but I heard with them it's excessive, to the point that even if you have thousands of hours you have barely any real flying experience (as in hands on flying).
@youtubemodsaresnowflakelef76922 жыл бұрын
The only standards these people know how to set is throw a lot of money at shit other people built and designed and they don#t really understand. Which is why 100 years from now they will be exactly the same place they were 100 years ago. In the desert, cutting each other's heads off. The only exception is Kuwait, as they were the only ones who actually diversified HEAVILY from oil and made shit happen.

@dashcan84793 жыл бұрын
Max! Stop smoking weed dude. Any other country can match this type of programming. This is simply pushing program buttons. The programming for these jets are pathetic. Most of it is redundancy so that a monkey cannot screw up. The planes fly themselves on autopilot for 80% of flights today. Watch CitationMax or Premier 1 Driver. Get real.
@NovaScotiaKevin3 жыл бұрын

Looked like an amazing experience, but this flight training organization has been known to charge way over what flight training should actually cost just because they share the 'Emirates' trademark. I for one have been at a similar "big name" integrated training organization who continuously advertised about how good/new their facilities are, but underneath all of that was an environment that did not focus on the cadet despite their large investment, but rather how much money the organization could potentially make from you.

@@SamChui What is the job placement rate and status for all the grads?
@harshfernandes87503 жыл бұрын
Well if you are a local then it’s like 99% but if you are an expat, then it’s a gamble because you will get selected for an INTERVIEW which again depends on the availability of the position

@@SamChui Here in Australia, we have the Virgin Australia cadetship, and if we graduate, we have secured a job at Virgin Australia; with this academy, it seems as though you are just kicked out once you have passed and left to look for jobs on your own although you are put through a selection process with the emirates one which is not even securing you a job which can be difficult.

Sam looks like an absolute boss flying those planes. Confidently relaxed and in control.

Very impressive training facility and it appears that they help the students avoid everyday distractions so they can focus on flying.
