Mike, thanks for taking us along on your flights and adding in the comms chatter. I haven't been current for some years now and am getting back into it so, riding along and listening in on the radio calls really helps to get the feel back. I LOVE your plane. I'm a bit green with envy. Good on ya mate!! You earned it!

Love these general aviation channels! They're so therapeutic to me for some reason?! Not a pilot, but an aviation buff since 5! I DID actually serve in the USAF for a few years as a ground equipment mechanic but that was YEARS AGO! Thanks to the miracle of KZbin, I can just go along for the flight. It truly relaxes me. Thank you sir.

Glad to learn of your new enterprise ... those who enter the struggle, work hard, and succeed deserve to receive their just rewards! You seem to also be struggling with speaking and pronouncing readable RT comms ... you will need to work hard at that, as well, in order to succeed. Too much time repeating yourself to controllers who are not understanding your comms, especially when you make the transition to jet pilot. So much more ground passes under you, all flying processes happen so much faster at 250+ knots, you cannot afford to spend time repeating yourself to controllers and/or Unicom. Practice that radio announcer voice ... PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! I'm just repeating to you some of what my Navy Flight Instructors told me during flight training. I really pick up on your joy of flying in your videos! Nice landing in Georgia, by the way, even with the left crosswind!

Your work ethic and drive is nothing short of inspirational. As a pilot, but not a CFI, it makes me a little concerned for you that the stall warning is going off on some of your departures and approaches. It may be that it’s calibrated to be activated way above the actual stall…, but on gusty days the lack of a safe margin for the gust factor could catch a great pilot off guard. Fly safe and keep your airspeed up!
