I was in Foz do Arelho this september even with my family and wing. I really enjoyed Obidos Clif and Gralha beach. Cheers from Czechia

Looks amazing. Nice work getting launched from the dodgy hillside. We've seen it up close and personal....very sketchy. Good on ya!

Fun video, thanks. I would have appreciated seeing the launch from such a tight launch. In fact, it would be interesting to see how each pilot launched with a critique on the different options. Thanks again for your work.

I was thinking it's a bit risky by those cliffs but he has the experience to know what is safe for him.

Coastal soaring... the best this sport has to offer in my opinion. Fantastic stuff.

Hi , great video , I see that there appears to be very little bottom landing apart from the beach , ive never flown there so I might be wrong? I would encourage all pilots flying over areas of the sea which have no bottom landing immediately underneath them for the whole length of the ridge to wear a life jacket . It's no good thinking that you can always glide to a bottom landing area. Fly safe.

You already tried RC Parasailing, so I think RC Slope Soaring will defintely be appreciated too! Besides, it is not dangerous to do.

Can a beginner start on a mini?
@AndreBandarra1
@AndreBandarra1 4 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on what you mean by starting. If you mean getting lessons, practicing groundhandling and getting to know a mini wing first, then I think it's possible. There are definitely people who get straight into mini-wings. I wouldn't recommend it though, as mini-wings need quick, intuitive inputs, and they fly a lot faster (so there's more chance of messing up if you're brand new to them). A full size paraglider handles slower, so you have more time to react and get used to the inputs/reactions. There are pros and cons to groundhandling with both, but I definitely wouldn't (and didn't) go straight for mini's. (Gemma)

@@AndreBandarra1, I see people practice with mini wings. That sounds like a way for me to go because I have great reflexes. One person calls it, "super training" and swears by it to gain superb glider control skills. I am not sure I'd want it to be my only glider once I'm in the air though. Thanks for that input. Valuable!

@@ranman58635 don't trust the schanze guy 🤣 he's talking a lot and not everything he says does make sense So you want a mini wing to be your only wing in the future?

@@E620SE lol, I was trying to avoid name's but yes, you get the point. I just wonder because when a person lies so much, you can't anything they say. That's why I'm asking someone else. I do want a mini to start on and stay on but not to be my only.
