I flew pre outbreack just 1 day after I got back to Darwin from my holiday in Gold Coast there were some cases there so this was in February 2020 I'm now flying again in a few weeks to perth in qantas

Why do they do passengers boarding the aircraft from the rear?

Because it's much quicker if passengers in the rear of the plane board through the rear door and passengers in the front use the jetway. And time is money of course. ;)

Inflight entertainment is purposely turned off or not working. If you manage to get it working - it's over a year old and purposely disables itself upon take off. This is due to the licensing arrangements not being renewed due to passenger numbers being down.

Yep - I realised that later. Was very excited when I saw Modern Family available on the ground only for it to be disabled at takeoff. 🤨

I think they’ve reintroduced standard meals in economy since the time I filmed this so things have improved.
