The slow mo at 10:22 both looks and sounds almost scale. Great flights. Love the look of this bird in the air.

Looks and sounds great in the air. I love the swept wing pass. The movie was great too. We might have went and watched it twice and are waiting for the Blu-Ray haha! Cheers

Great video. Would be really interesting to do a battery compare video like you mentioned. Especially with some of the main brands like admiral and spectrum. Difficult to make the right choice and 6s isn’t cheap.

Aircraft carriers have these emergency catch nets for planes that have to land but can't use the standard recovery cables for whatever reason. You might want to think about making something like those emergency catch nets for those times when the landing gear malfunctions that way you don't damage your planes and can conduct a much better investigation as to why the gear didn't extend on an intact plane instead of pieces of plane you have to sweep up off the grass.
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
We've never had gear extension issues with this jet. Adding a net would be far more trouble than it's worth, but an interesting idea regardless.
@cliffcampbell88272 жыл бұрын
@@TwoBrosRC Think: cargo netting, without the horizontal straps, just the vertical ones and with some 'give' to them so the straps don't rip the plane upon contact. The whole thing could be on a little trailer or one of those little red wagon things which could also hold the plane, radio, extra batteries, spare parts, the whole shebang. Once on the field, you open it up, place the up-rights and stabilizing legs and work bench and seat...maybe it would be too much trouble but I've seen some high dollar models have to do a wheels up landing and the end results were not always 'a splash of paint here and a dab of glue there...ta da! It's like new again.'
@themeach0112 жыл бұрын
@@cliffcampbell8827 I'm not sure the model would fair much better. Those nets on carriers aren't meant to not damage the plane they are meant to stop it from plunging into the ocean. It's definitely an interesting idea 💡 though. You should build one and test it out!!

I wonder 🤔🤷🏻♂️ 💭 if I could attach some parts of my Freewing F-14 Tomcat using Neodymium Magnets 🧲 with Foam-Tac ; Gorila Glue or Epoxy , because I’m living in another country … and I will go back home someday in the future ( I mean using Magnets bec I’ll ship all my planes back home ) any suggestions please help

Just box it up is what is we'd suggest.

Nice flying Jon. Great tips to learn flying. I was wondering if you can land on safe with the F14. I think its hard because the troughs are more less on safe to correct the plane than on normal flying. Gerard.
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
We would not recommend landing in SAFE with most models, especially not this jet. It needs to be precisely landed in the mains to avoid compassion damage to the foam.

@@TwoBrosRC Thanks. Thats true. I still not fly with mine f14 because i am learning flying. I just trying too setup de plane right. I have two 4500mah lipo,s on the stock battery bay with the spectrum ar8360T. I did some taxing on the runway its attemting to fly but better safe than sorry. Thanks and i keep following your videos.

Hey Jon ,next time you fly this plane just let it come down and at the last moment give it a bit of elevator to get it land good ( I know it's not a easy plane to fly)
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice - we've posted a landing tutorial on this jet before. Unfortunately not all days are identical wind conditions nor are all mods to the aircraft going to produce the same kind of flight characteristics. ;)
