G'day Ryan. Been watching for a little while now and just subscribed. I am enjoying the aerial views of the country as much as the flying. My Dad flew many of these New Guinea routes in the late 40's up until he died in his DH84 at Togoba in 1955. I have great memories of those times as I flew with him quite a few times as a young child. It really was the only way to get around New Guinea in those days. Some of the airfields are significantly advanced from then e.g. Goroka, Mt Hagen etc but many of the "bush" strips still look the same. I have just retired from spending almost 32 years as a Avionics LAME with the RFDS SE Section out of Broken Hill and still retain the excitement inherent in aviation. Especially the sort of thing you are doing. Keep posting for us and stay safe.

Hello Captain, First of all thank you for what you do. I am just a home flight simmer that loves bush aircraft and fly into small airports. Your videos are excellent and instructional. Kodiak is one of my favorite bush aircraft and have someone like you go through the proper steps to operate this wonderful aircraft, is very exciting. Your teachings bring another level of immersion to a simmer that really wants to learn the Kodiak. Please be as detailed as you possibly can. Looking forward to many more of your videos and rich content. THANKS

Wow. I enjoyed watching it right through to the end. What a beautiful morning trip. It kind of reminded me of a similar flight route that me and 3 other trainee teachers in 1981 flew in with MAF from Goroka to Awaba Secondary School situated on the Fly River in Western PNG. It was more intense but on a clear and sunny mid afternoon that basically was nothing else to see except crystal , white clouds which consumed 3/4 of the flight time. An excellent flight though with a missionary pilot with great experience who flew around some of the remoteness areas of PNG in his fellowship with the people. . You are doing a great job and It gives me the pleasure of watching your videos from my adopted country, Australia now. God bless you.
