I fly spirit all the time out of Atlantic City to Tampa.. Since all my family lives in Florida it makes for a cheap trip. I always grab a few snacks from outside the airport for the ride.. it's cheap for a reason!

I flew with them twice last month & gotta say I thought the actual flights were excellent. We had exit seats both ways which helped. Check in not so great but then where is it good? We are both ex crew & got chatting to Jackie the hostie on our outbound. She gave us free drinks onboard & goodies to take off & we swapped numbers & have kept in touch. Found the crew to be very friendly & professional

This reminds me of when I was delayed with ryanair at Stansted and no one had any idea what was happening and they kept changing our departure gate. After 4 changes we ended up departing from the gate were originally meant to be departing from 😂😂

Hi Lee! Hey #Damien! Wow what a palaver in the airport. Wouldn’t imagine you’d want to be a Tom Hanks there going by the state of the toilets as you described. Such a shame it was so bad and disorganised. And a bright yellow aeroplane ✈️ interesting. As much as you said it was a good flight. You looked very cramped sat together there. Loving Damiens sense of humour every time he’s on. He got a cheeky side to him and I did catch the smile. You are sneaky fiilming him asleep on the plane. Take care 😘👍🏻

Nothing wrong with Spirit. The trick is to fork out a bit extra for the big seats at the front. That's what I did a few years back when I flew with them from Las Vegas to San Diego, then San Diego to Houston. Even after paying for the big seats and for a checked bag, it still cost me less than all the other airlines wanted for the same routes. The cabin crew were lovely and I had a great couple of comfortable flights. I'd rather fly with them than Ryanair any day of the week, just a shame they don't fly here in Europe really!

I always see videos slating Spirit Airlines and wonder why?? I flew with Spirit from Fort Lauderdale to San Jose (Costa Rica) and honestly couldn't fault them on both journeys. Maybe I was just lucky on these occasions.

Spirit has the bright yellow planes now so they can find them easily if they get lost. Also since they are a budget airline they use rope for seat belts and the trays are made from recycled styrofoam.
