I was lucky enough to spend many days growing up at the bomber base during the FIFT days in the 1980’s 🧡 This brought back some great memories.

Wonderful presentation. Thank you. "Low and slow," something the 'modern' jet tankers are not as capable of doing.

I worked on the titling and graphic elements for THIS VERY video as done by Triad Communication Ltd. of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Roland Loughhead and Gay Ludlow did ALL the original camera work and post production and flew with the FIFT crew while holding large and heavy Sony Betacam SP cameras stable by hand or on the shoulder. Video was captured originally on Betacam SP and converted to DPS Velocity digital editor for post production and rendering. What an experience! The original video was MUCH better looking than this KZbin transfer since the final SDTV 720 by 480 pixel render was high quality digital video. The edited master still looks high definition even by today's 2019/2020-era standards even when uprezzed to 1080p or 4k using a motion compensated video scaler! .

StarGateSG7 More than 20 years ago I bought this NTSC VHS tape in the Bomber Base shop near Sproat Lake BC. My intention was to share this outstanding documentary with other people, without any profit but as a tribute. Also to you!

Some years earlier they were picking up water/practicing from the one lake , they were climbing and turning at the same elevation as we were it was impressive to see down the top of there hull. Those were the days when the skies were Blue and not full of the sprayed haze that now dries our our province, where the population is oblivious to what is being done too them!
