Sorry for the audio quality in the 505. For some reason, my GoPro adapter started failing at this point (and it eventually failed completely in later flights). I did my best to clean up the audio (it was way worse than this) to make it passable.

Yeh that sucks do u think u can feature them to re talk there stories? coz that was really interesting but couldnt hear it... kinda feels like a bit of disservice to the ppl telling the stories. Anyway your a rock star u look like u been flying helicopter for longer. wnd when do we get lester on the channel? Plz ppl get behind me on this!!!

You might try raising the volume. You can definitely hear them (or at least most can), it's just not pristine.

The editing was great. I really enjoyed watching all the familiar scenery go by trying my best to identify from the air. Yes the audio sucked but who cares I could still hear enough to make sense of it. If you use David Clarke you might try contacting them directly they responded to Oceaneering when I worked there.

@@CWLemoine I notice some major changes that Bell has made both to the nose of the machine and the engine cowling overhead. Very different from the legacy 206 JR. Sweet machine. Love the way the JR sounds (and smells) when you start one up. Can't beat a turbine.
@holgerheinrich29923 жыл бұрын
It's been how long now? 4 Years? I still hate the look if this fugly thing. And it doesn't grow on you. It is a flying Voldemort. And always will be. One of the worst machines ever build by Bell. They practically robbed their antique cabinets, scrambled some 30year old parts together, robbed a robinson of the hull and a 47 on the mainframe, and called it 505. *shudder*.

Leigh and Mike are delightful and living the dream, hope they have a safe and enjoyable onward flight back home.

I'm sure all the modern features are nice, still can't hold a candle to the original 206 Jet Ranger in the looks department though. I think the Long Rangers (206L) were the best looking civil helicopters ever made. The nose just kills the looks of the 505.
